The dumbing down of our children has long been a liberal agenda, our whole public school system is nothing but a democrat ran operation with one goal, gaining control and keeping voters stupid.

Dr. Kaku astounded me with his statement that, in one dortoral program, 100% of doctoral candidates were foreign-born. In the other, over 50% were foreign-born. These people are going back to China, India, etc. and bringing their country up to compete against us in the future. We, in our wisdom, pump out more lawyers and MBA's than we need. The hell with science...profits first!

Note: In the early 80's I worked with a Chinese architect from Shanghai. He told me that China had few high rise buildings because they didn't have elevator technology; they had to buy the elevators from other countries. Today China has shot down a satellite in space and are now studying the moon with an unmanned lumar probe that is sending back information that we didn't even dream about when we were there many years ago and there are many high rises in most cities of any size in China (they all have Chinese-made elevators)

But...we we have a huge wealthy class with more money than they can ever spend, we have giant corporations that control our health, transportation, our homes, food, education, our privacy and every aspect of our lives, we also have giant financial institutions that control the economies of the world.

We don't have the money for science and education but we do have money for corporate welfare, tax breaks for corporations and the wealthy, creating anf protecting the financial institutions that almost bankrupted the world. Please watch the entire video and then, don't just whine about it, get involved. In the STEM Program (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) one parent with a child in the program got ten dollars from the parent of every child in the program (several businesses donated from $100-$1000) and then they donated the money to the school so that the STEM program could buy course materials that the Board of Education wouldn't buy. Schools form around the country are now coming to the school and studyng what they are doing right.

I don't know the stats today, but not long ago Harvard's grad programs were well over 30 percent foreign.

It is the further form of affirmative action, when America blacks are not enough you get blacks from Africa.

And that was part of Obama's appeal to liberals, that he was not just 1/2 black but his father was a Kenyan socialist who died young of alcoholism.

Right now the only successful science program in the USA is,"The Big Bang Theory". A TV sitcom that pokes fun at all the sciences and portraits scientists and engineers as hopeless losers who dress in layers like the homeless, lost in their own world unable to function in everyday society.

And yes, one of the actors in the show is cast as a foreigner with a visa from India.

It is not a starry, starry night, but Clowntoker's latest posting has caused me so much Angst that I am contemplating removal of one of my ears.

However, they are perfect ears both in form and function, so that would be a loss.

If I had Dumbo-esque ears, as Clowndoper does, it would be another matter.

When I think of someone as stupid and demented as johnforbes freely wandering the streets, I often feel like the subject of a Munch painting.

The first is representative of the problem and the second is an over-educated buffoon who, with all of his advantages, is without insight or critical thinking ability.
