Golf clubs to come under intense IRS scrutiny

From Politico:
Some of New York’s most exclusive golf clubs would not let President Barack Obama play over Labor Day weekend, according to a report.

The Trump National Golf Club, Winged Foot and Willow Ridge rejected requests to let Obama tee off, which may have required the clubs to close their doors to regular members, WNBC reported.
Get your records together and standby for incoming. The bloom is off the rose for the most incompetent, failed president in history.

Here is more evidence of IRS targeting of groups that do not genuflect to the Dear Leader:
The company that runs the conservative Breitbart.com news site says the IRS has selected the network for an audit, in a move company executives suggest is politically motivated.

Breitbart News Network, a California-based company which runs several conservative websites, says the IRS recently audited its 2012 financial information.

"The Obama administration's timing on this is exquisite, but try as they might through various methods to silence us, we will only get more emboldened,” Stephen K. Bannon, executive chairman of Breitbart News Network, said in a written statement.

The audit comes as the agency faces sustained complaints that it targeted conservative groups for extra scrutiny as they sought nonprofit status, before the agency ended the practice last year.

Since the practice was made public – by the IRS itself and the inspector general’s office – other conservative groups have come forward claiming they were subjected to unwarranted scrutiny by the agency.

There are many examples of this.

The Palins had apparently never been audited, but as soon as Palin became a known political figure the IRS began looking.

The IRS has already admitted doing politically biased scrutiny of Tea Party-like groups.

And everybody -- Left or Right or Center -- realizes that the IRS destroyed the email evidence.

And why? Well, the only reason could be is that it led to the White House -- likely to Ben Rhodes and Valerie Jarrett.

How audacious of Obama to ask golf courses to cancel the reservations of over 200 member golfers so Obama can get in 18 rounds of golf while in New York on a fund raiser.

Obama has no shame.

CBS White House reporter Mark Knoller is the unofficial but widely trusted chronicler of data on presidential travels and other day-to-day White House goings-on, so we turned to his calculations.

On Aug. 8, 2014, Knoller tweeted that Obama had taken 19 vacations totaling 125 days so far while in office. Those numbers have risen a bit due to the Martha’s Vineyard vacation, but that’s still many fewer than George W. Bush’s 65 combined trips to his Texas ranch and his parents’ home in Kennebunkport, Maine, which totaled 407 days at the same point in his presidency.

Not included in this data are trips to the Camp David presidential retreat in western Maryland, which Knoller doesn’t count as "vacation." Knoller told Yahoo! News that, through Aug. 12, 2014, Obama had made 33 visits to Camp David for all or part of 84 days, while Bush had been there 108 times for all or part of 341 days.

It's probably a surprise to RealTool to learn that Democrats work so much harder and take so much less time off than Republicans.

I wonder why he wasn't reporting every vacation W. took while in office, since The Tool believes vacations by Presidents are so terrible.
RealTool must be appalled at the Republicans for wasting so much of the public's money on frivolities.

I'm not really sure what the big deal is over the vacations?

Obama likes to play golf. Bush drove around in a pickup truck all day.

Who really gives a shit...Those people are 'working' when they are on vacation.

Even more audacious is someone trying to justify Obama's actions.

Don't know about the other courses, but the Winged Foot membership has even turned down requests from the USGA to hold the US Open. So it was no big deal for them to deny Obama......membership is by invitation only.

I heard the rest of the story yesterday. This event took place when the Dear Leader decided to attend the wedding of his former chef. Being unable to secure a tee time, the Dear Leader, in a fit of pique, decided to fly back to DC to spend the night and then fly back again the next morning to attend the nuptials. This necessitated the cancellation of dozens of reservations for the Dear Leader's posse, and untold millions of dollars of expenses flying Air Force One back and forth for no good reason. Not to mention all the disrupted planning that went into the trip and wasted time for the Secret Service.

No matter. The Dear Leader is amused by all the crackers fetching and carrying fo' his (partially) black ass.

Enjoy it while it lasts nigga.

Elkin, come on.

You cannot compare Bush Jr and Obama for vacation days, then say "Hey, no big deal."

First, context. The economy Obama inherited was bad, but he made it worse. Today, America is almost 18 trillion in debt and 46 million are on food stamps. So luxurious, frequent vacations are worse if the economy is weak.

Secondly, Obama ran for 2 years claiming to be different -- a post-racial, post-partisan person. Like many others, I was hopeful.

Then it turned out Obama had spent 20 yrs listening to the racial tripe of Wright. Then it turned out Obama had known Ayers.

So then we had the lies about Obamacare, the lies about Benghazi, the destroyed IRS evidence.

Against that backdrop, Obama looks horrible being on vacation so much, and liberal Democrats who support him ought to know that.
