Elkin Will Post One Original Thought on This Thread

This will be Elkin's chance to shine.
He will be original, not borrowing a thing from the entire history of western thought.
Nothing Elkin posts will be the same as any thinker in Russell's history of western philosophy, nor any in Needham's tome.
Go on, Elkin.

Free will, determinism, logical positivism, atomism, what will young Elkin try to pretend is his original thought?
Surely, though, given Elkin's mighty forebrain, he'll come up with something?

Meanwhile Forbes will be assembling the cadre in the circular reading room where he will pivot in a whirling swish of ruffling taffeta and lisping murmurs of encouragement. He's got to keep the team stoked and engorged.

Synthetic a priori? No wait, that isn't new either.
Nor is Grog's gayness.

What about Elkin discussing states of nature and the emerging of social man?
That's new!
Wait, didn't Hobbes and Locke and Rousseau discuss every facet of that long ago?
Dang, wonder why Elkin -- with his huge brain -- can't seem to come up with any new idea?
Hey, what about quantum theory, or genetics, or how about the subconscious? Dang, Planck and Mendel and Freud were all published in English for the first time in the year 1900. Nothing new there either.

How about if we give him the opportunity to post one coherent thought?
That as well will prove to be a bridge too far.

Geezus, johnforbes is still jacking off to his same old idiotic lack of understanding of common-usage semantics.
johnny, when someone speaks of "original thinking" it does not mean one must be born on another planet to escape all references to previous human thought, you imbecile.
It means that you come up with ideas and opinions and conclusions by your own thought processes, as opposed to having it spoon fed to you by your handlers, as you and RealTool do.
The ideas and results may have been thought of many times by others in the past, but it is still original thinking because you didn't get the results directly from anyone else. (For example, FOXnews, where you and The Tool get your 'thoughts'.)
It's like when a college professor tells you your paper must be "your own original work."
The prof does not mean you are not allowed to draw on any ideas previously put forth in human history.
If you had ever actually written a paper in college you would know this.
As you have never done any original thinking in your entire life, it's no wonder you don't believe it's possible.
And the rest of you clowns, thinking that elklindo should be concerned or embarrassed with doing some stupid thing based on johnnyh's gross ignorance.
You don't get it either.
johnforbes is an idiot playing an idiot's ignorant game, believing he understands more than anyone else here.
He doesn't.
You are all just idiots following an idiot's lead, believing the idiot is clever.

Kinda like...Reference materials can include dictionaries, charts, atlases, encyclopedias, and other sources, both written and online (i.e. links...no wonder some dip shits don't click on 'em)

Clownslacker, I am merely a humble person seeking Ekin's wisdom.
He said he had original thoughts, so I wish to learn them.

No, you said you want to hear his original thoughts and then you started jacking off to your own idiotic game of pretending original thought couldn't reference any previous human thought.
johnforbes is stupid.

Clownhicker seems unaware of the vast panoply of western thought.
Not to mention eastern.
But let's take a leap of faith that Clowntoker will comprehend that.
Hey, that's a new and original thought!
No, wait, that was Kierkegaard.
