Rancher Bundy blew his support by being truthful

The media set Bundy up and asked him what he thought of blacks, he responded back with the truth, now politicians will have to drop their support of him and anyone who does continue to support him will be labeled racist, the leftist media set up an old man, Democrats will be proud of them. The New York Times set him up to bring him down for the Democrats
Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy made startling comments about slavery and African-Americans in a New York Times article published Wednesday night. After being asked what he thought of blacks in America Bundy replied “I want to tell you what I know about the Negro,” he said. Mr. Bundy recalled driving past a public-housing project in North Las Vegas, “and in front of that government house the door was usually open and the older people and the kids — and there is always at least a half a dozen people sitting on the porch — they didn’t have nothing to do. They didn’t have nothing for their kids to do. They didn’t have nothing for their young girls to do.

“And because they were basically on government subsidy, so now what do they do?” he asked. “They abort their young children, they put their young men in jail, because they never learned how to pick cotton. And I’ve often wondered, are they better off as slaves, picking cotton and having a family life and doing things, or are they better off under government subsidy? They didn’t get no more freedom. They got less freedom.”
Everything he said was true, but many Americans don't want to hear it.

In an era of Political Correctness, the truth is seldom said.

I can't believe you let this one go by, Grog.
It's just priceless.

Yes, it would have been more hilarious if RealTool had managed to rope in more than just his lapdog johnforbes with his trolling, but a thread where the conservatives expound on not just the moral acceptability of slavery, but even go so far as to say the "truth" is that slavery is actually preferable to welfare, is just too contemptibly funny.

To them this is a self-evident truth beyond dispute.
They don't even realize what this reveals of the conservative mindset of those who pretend to champion freedom and liberty.

“They abort their young children, they put their young men in jail, because they never learned how to pick cotton."
Oh, good lord.... Yeah, THAT's why.
This profoundly ignorant mental state is what three degrees did for johnforbes.
Tell me, johnny, exactly how someone is supposed to learn to pick cotton when no one has picked cotton by hand in the U.S. in 50 years.
Are you trying to say that greedy conservative capitalists are to blame for the status quo because they refuse to hire Negroes to work their fields?
That's what black's need: a job with a future.

Read the entire quote, not just the parts the media choose to splash around. Context is everything. Except to a liberal who lives on contrived outrage.

^^^^^Congratulations, RealTool, you duped another one.

So I listened to the video of this guy.
You're right, Insipid, I should have gotten the context in which he claimed blacks were happier under slavery and that old folks and children shouldn't be sitting around on the porch; the implication being old folks and children should be working the fields.

Now I see the conservatives'[ point: we need more commercial child labor and old folks working in the sun.
Thanks for the heads-up, Insipid.

What is it with you clowns making a hero of this kind of freeloader who admits he hasn't paid rent for the land he grazed to the tune of $400,000? (We'll give him the benefit of the doubt about the million+ claimed by the Feds.)
If someone takes $400 in food stamps you claim it's proof they are worthless.

When an individual has a beef with the federal government, whatever the merits of the beef and the individual, it isn't proper for the govt to show up with 200 agents and armed snipers on the ridges.

That's insane.

That's what one would expect of a totalitarian regime -- not what one would expect, or should expect, in America.

Harry Reid's stooge, now at BLM, must be a total moron to let a public relations fiasco such as this occur.

But the kid is only 35 and doesn't know better.

Bundy said slavery wasn't a good thing but he pointed out a sad fact, black families were actually better off working on farms learning trades as slaves than they are today in many cases. Bundy was pointing out how our Government has destroyed the black culture, his statement was anti-government not anti-black. Liberals want to make it racist, when it's not.

The sad reality of social welfare programs is that they grouped blacks together in welfare buildings, where a cycle of out-of-wedlock birth and welfare and food stamps and drug sales just mounted into a disaster for blacks.

Obama could -- and should -- deal with the real issues in the black community.

But he won't because blacks see him as 1/2 black and vote for Obama whatever his failures.

Obama could -- and should -- deal with the real issues in the black community.
Blacks shot 40 people in Chicago alone this weekend, violence continues to increase in cities with large percentages of blacks, it's a real serious issue that leaders should be dealing with instead of grazing cattle eating grass turtles may want. When you can't walk a street in America without the fear of being shot, it's a real crisis and it's getting worse every day, so what does Obama do today in Malaysia, he spreads division and racial hatred by telling them a NBA basketball owner's statements demonstrate how racial America is.

As with the leftist professor, Obama always speaks before even knowing the facts.

And STILL the Lucky Funky Junkie Pot Head Monkey Clowndicker has not bothered to read or listen to the entire Bundy quote where he says, "We do not want to go back to those days," meaning slavery or the oppression of blacks.

Selective outrage on the part of simple minded Useful Idiots who ASS-ume everyone is as stupid as they.
