An aunt of President Obama whose immigration status grabbed headlines before the president's 2008 election has died in Massachusetts. Attorney Margaret Wong, who represented the president's aunt, in her immigration case, said Onyango died Tuesday in a Boston rehabilitation center. Wong said that Onyango, 61, who was the half sister of the president's father, was being treated for cancer and respiratory problems. Onyango moved to the U.S. from Kenya in 2000 and was denied asylum by an immigration judge in 2004. But she remained in the country illegally, living in public housing surviving on social assistance.

What kind of beast worth untold millions turns their back on a family member like that? Where is his compassion? He talks of the need for Americans to dig deep into our pockets to help the needy but he does nothing to help his own family in need, while they fly around like King and Queen on luxury vacations? How does Obama sleep at night?

He has no compassion -- just ideological views.

His goal was to transform America, which he viewed as oppressive and dominated by rich whites, into yet another socialist dump.

And America is headed down that road.

Obama is your typical liberal, they talk of compassion for the poor and need to provide them support and money but when it comes to them doing something as individuals it never happens, not even for their own family members. A Harris Poll found that 87% of volunteers in the United States identified themselves as conservatives, the poll didn't mention who the other 13% identified themselves as. You also see it during national catastrophes, Katrina was a prime examples of whites helping blacks who refused to not only help other but even themselves. The reason Obama didn't help his own aunt is because it's in his culture to receive not to give.

Before you were criticizing Obama for not making sure his aunt was deported because she was "illegal".

Now you criticize him because he was so terrible that she only got a much better life and medical care than she would have had at home.
If Obama had given her a nice house you would have been bitching about how he was doing so much for a "criminal".

You clowns need to get over yourselves and your phony situations where no matter what someone does, you'll still paint them as terrible people.

It isn't an either/or.

Obviously, Obama lied about knowing his aunt (and other relatives) were living illegally in the U.S.

They should have been deported.

If you read Obama's financial disclosures, he had less than 1 million net worth as a US Senator, and he was mostly in index funds.

He made several million hawking his two books about the many wonders of himself, so Obama has been trying very hard to be rich.

Obama got the lot next to his Chicago house from Rezco, a convicted felon.

So yes, if Obama and Holder refuse to enforce the immigration law, as they do, Obama should have helped his aunt, here or in Africa, survive.
