Hobby Lobby 401(k) Discovered To Be Investor In Numerous Abortion And Contraception Products While Claiming Religious Objection

Hobby Lobby is currently seeking relief from certain contraception benefit requirements of Obamacare in a United States Supreme Court case that promises to be a landmark decision on the rights of corporations and the extension of personal religious protections to corporate entities. In the case of the Hobby Lobby corporation, the company is closely held by the Green family who purport to have strong religious objections to certain types of contraceptive devices and are suing to protect those religious rights.

Remarkably, the contraceptive devices and products that so offend the religious beliefs of this family are manufactured by the very companies in which Hobby Lobby holds a substantial stake via their employee 401(k) plan.

That's an incredible reach. You just know Donkey-Rat operatives have been furiously digging for anything whatsoever they can use to smear the owners of Hobby Lobby. This is the best they could come up with? It's a safe bet that by noon Wednesday Hobby Lobby's employee retirement plan will no longer own those stocks.
Next?
Next will be an effort to drive Hobby Lobby out of business. And thus cause the unemployment of thousands of people. Of course, the Donkey-Rats will be right there offering them health care, unemployment, food stamps and free Obongo Phones.

No, johnny, we're talking about conservatives.
For them it's the Saturday night chore.
The wife just grins, makes a few grunting noises to simulate arousal, and bears it.

So liberals are saying that Hobby Lobby employees shouldn't have a right to invest their money where they want to?

^^^See, hypocrisy doesn't bother conservatives like RealTool in the least.

It was never about the morality.
To his ilk, it's all about the money.

Answer the question clown, are you saying Hobby Lobby employees shouldn't have a right to invest their money where they want to? You do know that Hobby Lobby does hire openly queer associates don't you? What if the owners of Hobby Lobby told them "You can't not have any control over you 401k's or where's it's invested" Wouldn't those queers have a legit complaint...I would think so.

Of course the self-righteous have the right to be hypocrites. In fact, it's par for the course.

Nobody ever suggested they didn't, you moron.

Actually Hobby Lobby seems quite sincere. They really only objected to three forms of birth control out of the 27 being challenged. They have the right to object. They simply don't have the right to restrict their employees by getting any exemptions from our labor laws.

Now, that said, our current SCOTUS seems to like the rights of government licensed entities over actual human rights. An abomination of reactionary tyranny.

We will see how they do on this case. We will see if Scalia completely reverses everything he has ever said on this subject and supports religious tyranny over human rights and the proper application of labor law.

Bilbo gets one right.
