What an elitist POS.
Iowa Democratic Rep. Bruce Braley is under fire after a video surfaced Tuesday of him mocking Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, as a “farmer from Iowa who never went to law school” — in the middle of Braley’s campaign for Senate in the state known for its agriculture industry.

you might have a farmer from Iowa who never went to law school, never practiced law, serving as the next chair of the committee.

Wow.

Just speaking as one person who grew up doing manual labor of the very sort he is mocking, that is one ignorant Democrat.

Why in the world would any liberal feel farmers aren't qualified to be politicians?

Jesus, johnforbes, he wasn't mocking manual labor, you moron.
He was saying you don't want the chair of the judiciary committee to be someone entirely untrained in the field of law.

And RealTool, no liberal said farmers aren't qualified to be politicians.
He was suggesting you don't want someone without any knowledge or expertise in a particular field to head up a committee overseeing that field.
You also wouldn't want a housewife to be the head of the intelligence or armed forces committees.
She has no knowledge or expertise in those fields.
But that doesn't mean she can't be a politician.

Are all conservatives completely lacking in reading comprehension skills?

Using your logic, why are any of these democrats on the Committee on Military Affairs? Not one of them served even 1 day in the military.

Adam Smith, Washington. Ranking Member
Loretta Sanchez, California
Mike McIntyre, North Carolina
Bob Brady, Pennsylvania
Rob Andrews, New Jersey
Susan A. Davis, California

Rick Larsen, Washington
Jim Cooper, Tennessee
Madeleine Bordallo, Guam
Joe Courtney, Connecticut
David Loebsack, Iowa
Niki Tsongas, Massachusetts
John Garamendi, California
Hank Johnson, Georgia
Colleen Hanabusa, Hawaii
Jackie Speier, California
Ron Barber, Arizona
André Carson, Indiana
Carol Shea-Porter, New Hampshire
Dan Maffei, New York
Derek Kilmer, Washington
Joaquín Castro, Texas
Tammy Duckworth, Illinois

Plus what qualifications does California Democrat Loretta Sanchez have that makes her the ranking member of the Tactical Air and Land Forces Committee?

The clown got spanked once again!

So which one of those Democrats without any knowledge or expertise in the field heads up the Committee on Military Affairs?

To replow this ground, Clownhicker is grossly unqualified not merely for Congress, but also this forum.

Really???
Howard Philip "Buck" McKeon. Committee on Armed Services (Chairman) Born in Tujunga, Los Angeles, California, McKeon graduated from Verdugo Hills High School in Tujunga. He spent two years as a Mormon missionary before enrolling at Brigham Young University.[2] He later received his Bachelor of Science degree in animal husbandry in 1985, after previously putting his studies on hold to raise a family and establish his early business career. He was the owner of a Western clothing shop until its bankruptcy in 1999[3] and has also served as the chairman of a small, regional bank. McKeon gained his first political experience when he was elected to the William S. Hart High School District board of trustees

RealTool brings up an example of Republicans appointing an under-qualified candidate to a chairmanship as if it justifies appointing yet another under-qualified candidate to another chairmanship.

RealTool spanks himself again.
He doesn't even need me to do it for him.

Clown ducks and dodges and pretends politicians selected for chairmanship positions has a background in the field they chair, I provide examples that that's not true and he wiggle, wiggle, wiggles. ;)
