Hussein M'bongo draws another meaningless line in the sand

The Dear Leader blusters and threatens and the world laughs.

President Obama drew a new red line Wednesday amid continuing violence in Ukraine.

"And I want to be very clear as we work through these next several days in Ukraine that we're going to be watching closely and we expect the Ukrainian government to show restraint, to not resort to violence in dealing with peaceful protestors. We've also said we expect peaceful protestors to remain peaceful and we'll be monitoring very closely the situation, recognizing that with our European partners and the international community there will be consequences if people step over the line," Obama said from Mexico, where he is meeting with other North American leaders.

Let's be honest: This is going to work out just as well as the last red line he drew for Syrian President Bashar Assad. Assad is still in power and the deal to remove his chemical weapons -- which prompted Obama's red line -- appears to be unraveling. The White House, meanwhile, is impotently "examining" its options.

The folks in the White House seem to think that everyone in Ukraine — the government, the protesters and the military — are anxiously modifying their behavior to avoid U.S. wrath.

No, it's more likely they're laughing at Obama's impotent bluster — along with just about everyone else.

You can't even define, "Neo-con." But since moveon.org and mediamatters.com tell you to hate them, you do.

In a nutshell neoconservatives are aggressively hawkish in foreign policy matters, particulalrly in creating or reasserting U.S. hegemony following the demise of the USSR, whilst also remaining aggressively chicken-hawkish in their personal contributions (essenatilly a "chicken hawk" is someone who declines their own opportunity to serve in the military whilst demanding others do to implement the chicken hawks "ideas").

Cheney, Wolfowitz and "Ambassador" Bolton are examples of redundantly chicken hawk neoconservatives.

For a slightly wider view of "neoconservatism," we can look to a conservative source

I dreamed a dream in time gone by, when the forum was young and worthy of posting.

I dreamed that Grog's demented postings would not be sly.

Now Grog's persistent stupidity has killed the dream I dreamed.

Grog has done a lot of slapping, but that is merely his vast belly slapping against his upper thighs.

there will be consequences if people step over the line," Obama said from Mexico,
I watching a Mexican news program where one of the announcers fell from his chair he was laughing so loud when Obama made the "step over the line" comment. When he stopped laughing another one commented that in two months from now Obama will claim he never mentioned a line, all three of them started laughing their asses off again. Obama is an international joke.

Obama with visions of grandeur, is as much an idiot as his followers. Now he thinks he's a modern day William Travis!
