CBO:
The Effects of a Minimum-Wage Increase on Employment and Family Income
Increasing the minimum wage would have two principal effects on low-wage workers. Most of them would receive higher pay that would increase their family’s income, and some of those families would see their income rise above the federal poverty threshold.
But some jobs for low-wage workers would probably be eliminated, the income of most workers who became jobless would fall substantially, and the share of low-wage workers who were employed would probably fall…
Effects of the $10.10 Option on Employment and Income
Once fully implemented in the second half of 2016, the $10.10 option would reduce total employment by about 500,000 workers, or 0.3 percent, CBO projects (see the table below)...

Costco is also one of Obama's biggest supporters.

Conservatives are confused about Costco.
Let see how long it takes for conservatives to pressure Walmart into not offering competitive wages.

^^^^Copy-and-pasting---what johnforbes considers to be 'leading a discussion'.
Nothing of his own to add, as always.
He's useless.

Elkin, my boy, you are wrong about that.
Email me with a link to your own professional web site, I'll reply with mine, and within the next hour you can be looking at my credentials.
But Elkin, you won't do that because you are just a little jerk on the Internet.

Elkin, you are just a little jerk on the Internet.
You have no credentials, no experience, and probably no wife.
And, no, nobody wants any pictures. Spare us.

This credential thing has never worked out for you, so why not try something different lest you continue to prove the adage that "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over whilst expecting different results."
Post the address to your credentials page here so people can take a look and then we'll send you the addresses to our pages. I mean, that's essentially what you want us to do, so go against your conservative instincts and lead from the front, for a change.
Thanks in advance!

The credential thing always works.
Why was Obama a candidate? Because he was half black and had gone to Harvard.
Age, education, and vocational experience always matter.
They make people who they are.
Why go to a doctor with a somatic complaint? Because he/she is a doctor.
Why not get your plumber to fix your teeth? Because a plumber is not a dentist.
Credentials and experience matter to everybody all the time.
