Did you guys hear it? I listened for it but all I heard was a tired campaign speech. Many liberals may not realize it but the State of the Union Address is suppose to address the State of the Union.

There was no need to watch or listen to it. You knew going in it was going to be all, "soak the rich and raise minimum wage." Just red meat for the Useful Idiots. By all accounts from those paid to watch and listen though, it was a real snooze. As if Obongo has finally realized what a total failure he really is and just phoned it in.

Apparently only 33 m or so watched.

The surprising thing is that even that many watched such a tedious exercise in empty promises and false claims.

Even Hillary commented "It was a good speech, he always gives good speeches, other than that I have no comment"

Obama made it clear in the speech he intends to start disarming America using executive order.

Obama's entire presidency, as Romney noted, hinged on giving out taxpayer dollars to his present and potential voters.

By the way, this is wrong when Repubs do it for their voters too because it is public money.

Obama loves to say he can go at it alone.......Someone send that man a copy of the US Constitution. I would do it but he doesn't accept mail from a Republican.

The poor pretty much own nothing, pay very low taxes, and the food stamp program is getting cut. Out of the total pie relatively speaking, they are getting nothing...

The middle class is getting squeezed, higher payroll taxes, and cuts in unemployment benefits.

Please give me break, the wealthy have been receiving preferential tax treatment for years...

I wish I could get paid in company stock, hold it for at least one year, and declare long term cap gains bypassing ordinary income at higher rates.
