Why isn't California taxing their way out of the drought?

I just don't understand it, raising taxes has been the solution to everything in California, look how smart their students are, their High School graduates may not be able to read above the 6th grade level or do basic math but they do understand that higher taxes and the liberal agenda is a good thing, that's all that matters.

I watched our local media interviewing young Californians at a mall concerning the drought. Almost to the kid they blamed greed, global warming, carbon pollution and lack of funding as the reason for the drought. There was one kid who said he blamed the lack of rain and snow pack for the drought, turns out he was an exchange student from Ireland, his brain hasn't been "conformed" yet by the public school system. You can bet those California High School kids are scratching their heads right about now wondering why they just don't raise taxes to buy more water to fix the drought. Sadly that really is the case.

Well I spoke to soon, California Governor Jerry Brown is blaming the water shortage on global warming inaction and the need to raise to taxes to better manage the water. Exactly what the schools are teaching the children to say.

Looks like nature is going to take care of the liberal fruits in California.

"Global warmimg? What global warming?"
   If it's not Bush's fault it's global warming's fault.

What the picture depicts is a State that's mismanaged, California for the most part is a desert with water brought in to grow vegetation. Instead of planning for time likes this, California has concentrated on bringing in million of illegals to help consume the little water they do have. California is destined to become Northern Mexico as it continues to be mismanaged and the land is returned to the desert it once was.

Yep, even Raymond Chandler's novels often delved into the corruption involved in bringing and keeping water in LA.
