Palin was a housewife in small-town Alaska, with 4 or 5 kids, before getting in politics.

She was poor, changed colleges (like Obama did), and earned a B.A. -- id est, the very same amount of formal education which Teddy and Carter and many other presidents had.

Go look up the formal education of Katie Couric or Andrea Mitchell or the other leftist "journalists" so eager to look down their noses at Palin.

Brian Williams, Chuck Todd, Walter Cronkite...no degree at all.

If Elkin were to post his own age, formal education, military experience, and vocational experience, what he posted would be utterly unimpressive.

Liberals hate Palin because she scares them. She's the youngest person and first woman to be elected Governor of Alaska. She was the head of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and a member of the girls' basketball and cross country running teams. During her senior year, she was co-captain and point guard of the basketball team that won the 1982 Alaska state championship, earning the nickname "Sarah Barracuda" for her competitive streak. She's extremely beautiful, confident, self reliant, intelligent and worked her way up from poor to riches without a handout from the Government and to top it off she's a mother who raised four children with no abortions.

johnforbes can't seem to understand that Brian Williams, Chuck Todd, Walter Cronkite, and Katie Couric never asked us to elect them President. But guys like Cronkite had real-world experience learning their craft. johnforbes touts such experience when it serves his partisan views but ignores it when he's trying to compare college degrees where none is required and can often be meaningless.

An uneducated broadcaster is unimportant because you aren't forced to believe them or even watch them.

Come on, johnny, tell me that if you were discussing politics with Palin you wouldn't consider yourself superior to her because she has one cobbled-together degree from Podunck schools and you claim to have several from better schools, which is exactly how you treat everyone here virtually every day.
