Obama made Republicans eat crow today

They all said if the ACA was so good why isn't Obama signing himself and his family up for it, well today he did just that. He signed him and his family up for a Bronze plan in a health care plan made available by the Affordable Care Act on the D.C. marketplace. Talk about taking the wind out of the neo-cons sails. If it's good enough for our President no one can say it's not good enough for them. Check mate!

Obama can go get free care at any time from Bethesda, so it is silly that he would sign up for and pretend to use Obamacare.

The reality is he won't ever use it.

True enough little wannabe faux.

There is no doubt that symbology would be lost on you, and it still does cost Obama $400.00 per month. That is not even symbolic. It is real money. His money. He is paying for that symbol.

Now here is some old historical symbology;

Republican members of Congress "symbolically" threw their staff under the bus for political purposes.

Senator Grassley(R) made a special case ame3nsdment to the ACA for Members of Congress and their staff forcing them onto the health care exchanges rather than keeping them on their previous employer supplied insurance.

There was some confusion about whether or not staff would keep their employer contribution to the health care costs. Senators and Congressmen would keep their benefit of full coverage at government cost in any case.

Senator Vitter(R) proposed an amendment that would remove all employer contributions to their staffs health care costs.

This was know as the "Obama Exemption for members of Congress, note how it was created and proposed by Republicans, Just another case of Republicans creating something and blaming Obama for it while lying about what it does. We can all remember this false shit storm in a can created by Republicans

Symbology? Symbology is the problem!!!! Most politicians never do anything substantive...they rely on "feel good, look good" acts that mean nothing and have no positive effect. They don't fix anything. They just want to look good to their "constichents."

Bubba: "Ah feel your pain...." Yes, but DO something about it...

Symbology...hah...another characteristic of the liberal mindset that proves they live in their own fantasy world.

Gee, the whole point of the Republican strategy since Obama was elected was to either do nothing or be destructive. They have been extremely successful at doing nothing and tried very hard at being destructive with only a modicum of success.

To oppose and/or destroy everything "Bath House" Barry stands for or attempts is the duty of every patriotic American citizen.

Elk guess you don't have cable or the internet. Here's a sample list just on health care this year alone:
Republican initiatives included in legislation passed by the House:
•Includes personal responsibility incentives: Allows health insurance premium to vary based on participation in proven employer wellness programs
◦(Sources: H.R. 3468, “Promoting Health and Preventing Chronic Disease through Prevention and Wellness Programs for Employees, Communities, and Individuals Act” (Castle bill); H.R. 4038, “Common Sense Health Care Reform & Accountability Act” (Republican Substitute bill); H.R. 3400, “Empowering Patients First Act” (Republican Study Committee bill); H.R. 3970, “Medical Rights & Reform Act” (Kirk bill), "Coverage, Prevention and Reform Act")
•Advances medical liability reform through grants to States: Provides grants to States to jump-start and evaluate promising medical liability reform ideas to put patient safety first, prevent medical errors, and reduce liability premiums.
◦(Sources: S. 1783, “Ten Steps to Transform Health Care in America Act” (Enzi bill); H.R. 3400, “Empowering Patients First Act” (Republican Study Committee bill); H.R. 4529, “Roadmap for America’s Future Act” (Ryan bill); S. 1099, “Patients’ Choice Act” (Burr-Coburn, Ryan-Nunes bill))
•Extends dependent coverage to age 26: Gives young adults new options.
◦(Sources: H.R. 4038, “Common Sense Health Care Reform & Accountability Act” (Republican Substitute bill); H.R. 3970, “Medical Rights & Reform Act” (Kirk bill))
•Allows automatic enrollment by employers in health insurance: Allows employee to opt-out.
◦(Sources: House Republican Substitute; H.R. 3400, “Empowering Patients First Act” (Republican Study Committee bill); “Coverage, Prevention, and Reform Act” )
•Mechanisms to improve quality.
◦(Sources: H.R. 4529, “Roadmap for America’s Future Act;” S. 1099, “Patients’ Choice Act;” H.R. 3400, Republican Study Group bill; S. 1783, “Ten Steps to Transform Health Care in America Act” (Enzi bill))
•Community Mental Health Centers. It strengthens standards for facilities that seek reimbursement as community mental health centers by ensuring these facilities are providing appropriate care and not taking advantage of Medicare patients or the taxpayers.
◦(Source: H.R. 3970, “Medical Rights & Reform Act”)

Elkin, the other flaw in what you said is basic:

In accusing Repubs of obstruction, that suggests Dems know and are on the proper path to a better society.

They are not.

American became the best big country in the history of mankind with a high amount of freedom and capitalism.

America's greatness is ending because of less freedom and more socialism.

That is exactly right. Obstructing this Democratic train wreck IS getting something done.
