Perhaps looking into their crystal ball and seeing what the future has in store for their Anointed Messiah, Congressional Demonrats are attempting to put into place a little proactive defense against future legal action.
Eight Democrats have proposed a bill that would take the death penalty off the table for a variety of serious federal crimes, including espionage, treason and assassinating federal politicians.
...among other things.

The usual suspects: Sponsors of the bill include Rep. Donna Edwards (D-MD), Elijah Cummings (D-MN), Barbara Lee (D-CA) Hank Johnson (D-GA), John Lewis (D-GA), Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) and José Serrano (D-N.Y.).

Hmmm, looks like Obama's supporters see the handwriting on the wall. They're trying to protect him from the death penalty when he is tried and convicted of treasonous actions against the American people, breaking his oath of office to defend and uphold The Constitution.
Naturally, this is a largely minority sponsored bill.
Curious...very curious indeed.
