Obama went to far on this one, facing criminal charges

The Health and Human Services Department with support from the White House has told contractors working on the problem-plagued ObamaCare website not to release documents to congressional investigators, a mandate slammed as “criminal obstruction” by House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa.

Sebelius is going to jail, the question is will she rat Obama out?

I would urge caution with making predictions. Remember back when GW was president, it was almost a daily occurrence to have some idiot leftist on here confidently predicting that any minute now Karl Rove, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld or someone else would be arrested, handcuffed, "frog marched" out of the White House, tried, convicted and executed on the front lawn to the admiration and cheers of the assembled multitudes.

That never happened. But they never stopped predicting it either.

Kathleen Supercilious needs to be held responsible, but for now she is suffering humiliation and derision in massive quantities as her ineptitude and failures are put on display for all to see. It would be nice to see her give up her boss (it happened to Nixon when John Dean knifed him in the back trying to save his own ass), but it's unlikely.

That was different, the liberals just didn't like the Bush Administration, you can't be charged for a crime when there is no crime. In this case the Obama Administration has committed an actual crime against Congress and the people of the United States. The Obama Administration actually ordered private companies not to comply with the Congressional Committee's requests for documents and threatened those companies with criminal charges if they did cooperate with Congress. The companies have actually turned over those written orders from the Obama Administration signed by Kathleen Sebelius to Congress saying this is why we can give you any information. Obstructing a congressional investigation is a severe crime. Of course Obama is sitting by doing nothing to resend those orders but the moment criminal charges are filed against the Administration Obama will once again declare "I know nothing about it, I'm not involved".

How many investigations has Issa launched and what is his win/loss record?

Sure, he's popular with the Fox Nation mouth-breathers, but what has the Chairman actually accomplished?

To paraphrase Issa: "Please step away from the computer, JustFreedManMe."

When Nixon and LBJ told lies, they didn't just hurt their party, but all Americans.

Viewing the exposure of corruption as a matter of win/loss is superficial, not to say juvenile.

I agree. Issa needs to grow up and stop wasting so much time and taxpayer money on his mindless inquisitions that never go anywhere.

Perhaps you will contact him and suggest he expends his time and taxpayer dollars on something legitimate, like governing.

In other words, let Obama operate with unlimited power and ignore any laws he breaks along the way. Issa has arrest authority and he needs to start using it! Anyone who refuses to turn over documents should be arrested and the documents seized, anyone who attempts to obstruct the investigation should be arrested, anyone who provides false or misleading information during the investigation should be arrested. No one is above the law and it's about time the laws be enforced.

Ask, no, TELL the Chairman to stop cutting bait on the pot and DEMAND that he begin making arrests.

I already did a few days ago and got an email back from his office assuring me appropriate actions would be taken and to stand by.

I'm sure Silly, Forbes, Brandon, Insipid and the rest of the cadre (as well as all the nicks you use) believe that.

Issa: 142,325 investigations.

Wins: 0
He loses none by the fact that none are ever closed and none were ever real, just PR stunts for the low capacity members of our society.

All at cost to the American tax payer. Now that is fraud and should lead to Issa in jail for a very long time, but it won't. Regardless of the real merits.

Obama ran for 2 years promising the most open, ethical crew to ever hit DC.

Obama promised that Obamacare would be negotiated on C-Span, for example.

Never has there been an Administration more secret, more unavailable even to the adoring press, than Obama's den of corruption.

It was wrong when Nixon misused the IRS, but Obama did the same. And Obama's lies about Benghazi were a disgrace.

Even LBJ and Nixon didn't lie about health care.

When you've got a committed butt boy like Eric Holder running interference for you in the "Just-Us" dept. nothing much is going to get done. The crimes committed by the administration during the ill conceived "Fast and Furious" disaster still have not been properly addressed. Holder himself should go to jail over that one. Her Royal Thighness, Hillary should be roasted over her involvement in the Benghazi debacle. The list goes on and on, and no one is held to account.
One wonders if anyone in the military is considering the oath they took when sworn in.
