Scott Walker asked parents to make campaign contributions instead of buying their children gifts: David Martosko of the Daily Mail Online wrote: "Republican Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker's re-election campaign risked a Scrooge image last week with a Black Friday promotion asking parents to make campaign contributions instead of buying their children Christmas presents. 'Instead of electronics or toys that will undoubtedly be outdated, broken, or lost by the next Holiday Season,' a Walker re-election campaign email instructed, 'help give your children the gift of a Wisconsin that we can all be proud of.' It was 'a Black Friday special that is better than any deal found in stores,' the campaign claimed: 'Donate $5, $10 or $25 to help Governor Walker get reelected and save your children from a future of double-digit tax increases and billion dollar budget deficits.' Taylor Palmisano, who has served as the campaign's deputy finance director since July, signed the email. She did not respond to requests for comment."

But that's not quite what Scott Walker was doing.

Madison is one of the most liberal precincts in the country, so it is understandable they would distort this.

If we're accepting that as being true, I just heard Obama asked parents to cut back on food for their babies and send him the money because in the long run he'll be able to make better use of the money than food for the babies. What an asshole.

The angry little libbies are still enraged that Scott Walker is still Governor. They held recall elections, stamped their little feet, drummed their heels on the floor and held their breath until they turned blue and nothing worked. In fact, in the recall election he won by a larger margin than his first victory.

Poor, sad little libbies.

Now there is talk circulating that Walker, having successfully defied and bitch slapped the teachers union (among others) may be presidential material.

If it is possible to drive the knee jerk, emotion driven, logic impaired leftist loons even more insane, this may do it.

We await further developments with eager anticipation.

Insipid wants to see the Republicans run Walker for President.

Evidently he just can't wait for Hillary to be elected.

Liberals have no problem with Obama asking mothers to send him their children's food money and let the children go hungry, they're disgusting.

Last week, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s official “campaign team” sent an email to the potential donors in which his deputy, Taylor Palmisano, asked supporters to forgo purchasing presents for their children in lieu of donating to his reelection effort.

“Instead of venturing into the cold this Black Friday,” it began, “stay in and give your children a gift that will keep on giving. This year, we are celebrating the Holiday Season with a Black Friday special that is better than any deal found in stores. Donate $5, $10 or $25 to help Governor Walker get reelected and save your children from a future of double-digit tax increases and billion dollar budget deficits.”

It continued by noting that any “electronics or toys” that parents buy for their children “will undoubtedly be outdated, broken, or lost by the next Holiday Season,” whereas a contribution to the Walker reelection effort will help to create “a Wisconsin as great as the one [Walker] grew up in.”

Raw Story contacted both Taylor Palmisano and the Friends of Scott Walker, but as of 9:12 a.m. EST has not received a response.

Bilbo's sanity is lagging more than Walker's hairline.

Elk what I found on Obama asking mothers to give their children's food money to him is just as credible as your original post about Scott Walker.

By the way, don't you think that's really low of Obama to ask mothers to send their children's food money to him because he wants it?

I'm struggling to see why this is so important to Elk and his buddies.

Maybe it's that they're much less concerned with those po' chijunz Krimas gifts than they are with people actually donating to Walker's campaign.
