No matter how inclusive we think we have become, there will always be people of low ability, low education, low ambition, and low self esteem, who think they can't survive without a legal advantage over others, and who will claim that equal rights and protections under the law are undeserved privileges. People who will think that the only way they can feel good about themselves is by discriminating against someone who they think is not protected by the law. There will always be low life bigots who claim that "others" are lesser and undeserving.

You know them here. Typical teagaggers, hypocrites, and radical reactionary extremists. The paranoid people who don't think they can make it in a world with equality.

I think they might be correct about themselves. Their posts certainly support that conclusion.

What kind of person thinks whites are a disadvantaged class in the United States? That's a very simple question to answer. A racist.

Yet, there is an element of truth. The real struggle is between the real proviledged class and the rest of us. Between the class that lowers it's own taxes at the expense of the rest of us. The class that assigns all the wealth of production to itself. The class that writes most of the laws. The class that starts the call for "tort reform" to insulate itself from the law. In this we have no racism. All the people are intentionally disadvantaged and abused by the likes of the Koch brothers, the greedy wealthy, and their minions. And fools support their efforts.

Black and Hispanic Caucus
Black and Hispanic Television Programs
Black Universtities
Minority Scholarships
Affirmative action in job places for minorities

The list goes on and on, there are no white universities, no white scholarships, no white affirmative actions, no white caucus, no NAAWP...whites are disadvantaged and only a racist or person with white guilt would deny that fact.

Each family has a child that attends the same school and is applying for admission to the same local university. The white child has a better academic record than the black child. The white child is rejected admission and the black child is granted admission. When the white family dares to question this they are labeled as racists by Bilbo and his type.

This legal institutional discrimination continues on affecting all of the lives of the white family with jobs and promotions, the younger child, etc. These people were never racists, never had ancestors who owned slaves, never institutionally oppressed anyone.

No one is asking for pity, Elk. They want the laws and people like you to stop discriminating against them.

Maybe you didn't realize this but racial discrimination against anyone is wrong, including "white" people. It really isn't funny. But everybody already knows people like you are racists. The real racists of the times.

Personally, I believe hate filled people like you will eventually take things beyond the current institutional level and on to violence. So my answer to your buddy Bilbo's question is no. We will never be able to stop needing protection against minorities. With white people soon to be a minority (a generation already is) protection from people like you will be absolutely necessary.

Remedies to the still existent racism are very painful and do need to be eliminated. Right after there is no longer any measurable racism. We will continue to pay the price that our stubborn persistent racists continue to prove is necessary.

Still, all affirmative action should be moved to additional educational/training remediation and be based only on economic and educational disadvantages and not on race. On this, I agree with Barack Obama. Significant advancement should be based only on merit.

Then there are the racists rants against any remediation of the effects of their racism. To be expected.

Both Obamas stated that they got affirmative action.

That is how we know it for sure.

Both Obamas have kept their SAT and LSAT scores hidden.

Why is that?

I'd be glad to reveal mine because they make me look good, so why do they hide?
