"Cyber security experts told Congress today that the Obama administration should take Healthcare.gov offline until privacy vulnerabilities are addressed and detection capabilities are improved."

They also told Congress that the site may have already been hacked. All of them agree that the site is not secure.

A panel of IT experts had one answer for Congress when asked if Americans should use the Obamacare exchanges on Healthcare.gov in light of its security concerns: “No.” One demonstrated an attack in the hearing room, showing how on Finder.Healthcare.gov a hacker could breach into a computer, monitor its webcam, and steal passwords by simply placing the "!" symbol at the end of the website.“Just by looking at the website we can see that there is very fundamental security principles not being followed, things that are basic in nature that any security anyone would actually test for prior to being released,” he added that his test of the system found several active hackers pulling information from the servers the moment he went into the system.

“Given Healthcare.gov’s security issues, and assuming for the moment that you would be personally responsible for all damages incurred from your advice, would any of you advise an American citizen to use this website as the security issues now exist?” asked Rep. Brooks.

Every witness said no.

“I’m not a political person, I’m not here to talk politics, but if you’re asking me from a technology standpoint, it would be easier to start over again, lay the foundation of security, and start from the beginning,” Wright said. “The security has to be the foundation of this site. Period.”

“Unfortunately the personal information that has already been entered into Healthcare.gov is vulnerable to online criminals and identity thieves, hackers are actively stealing that information as we talk.”

If a private business operated a website that wasn't secure they would be fined thousands of dollars for every piece of private information stolen...our Government on the other hand says "what difference does it make" when it comes to a website they are operating. Encouraging Americans to enter private information into a system they know is unsecure and actively being hacked should be an impeachable offense.

Those so called security experts are nothing but paid hacks saying what they were paid to say. The government is setting up and running the website and no sites are better secured than the governments. Look at our military, NSA, FBI and other federal sites, the ACA is just as secure as they are.

Alas, the ACA stands for "Affordable Care Act" and it is NOT affordable.

Obama promised open negotiations on C-Span, he said you could keep your doc and your plan, the total cost would be 900 billion, it would be deficit-neutral.

All of that was a pack of lies.

Oblamer today said the problems they're having with the rollout of the ACA (he stopped calling it Obamacare) is because the GOP has placed hurdles in the way that his team is still trying to over come. He added that the GOP's actions are threatening the protection of Americans' private information and he hopes the public holds Republicans accountable if hackers are successful in stealing information from the health care websites. He called on Republicans to be part of the solution rather than the problems because we've seen first hand the damages they've done to the rollout.
