Bilbo-I notice that there are no comments to this post. Could it be that fact confuse some people?

No. They simply don't live in a factual world. They don't want to see, let alone understand, any facts. Facts almost always conflict with their views.

Bilbo needs a course in epistemology.

Bilbo still believes his opinions are facts.

Yes, little wannabe faux.

It certainly will appear that way to those invested solely in their own delusions and who reject observational objectivity.

You are easy to understand. Also, there is your pure troll part too.

Bilbo, your chart of where our tax dollars go leaves off numerous items including the most expensive one of all...PUBLIC EDUCATION, not only is public education considered free in your world so are numerous other public expenses including public roads, bridges, public workers' salaries, etc. etc. Sounds like something Obama would put out

Bilbo is so deluded that he believes himself capable of observational objectivity.

Of course, that is nonsense.

Any human looks at the world through his own experiences, so the view is subjective.

As this applies to politics, read Walter Lippmann's The Public Philosophy. And his book Public Opinion.

Bilbo, do yourself a favor.

Read Lippman's book Public Opinion.

My opinions are not objective; they are opinions, formed by my experiences and seen through my perceptual apparatus.

The same is true of all opinions.

Bilbo, learn something from your time on this forum.

Those who produce the goods and provide the services that are our economy.
Secondarily, the people who organize and create the companies that produce the goods and services that are our economy.
Thirdly, the people who purchase and expand those companies.
Fourthly, the financiers who finance start-ups and expansions of production and services.

Not, the huge conglomerate who buy those companies, eliminate competition, and demand a high return to corporate headquarters skimming the profit out of the real company and increasing prices.
Not the vast majority of Wall Street financial people who skim the economy for personal profit and gamble with other peoples money.

There, you have it. The people who create the economy and in many ways are NOT the people who profit most from the economy. That is wrong.

Given the democratization of investing, the average American will see his stock go up, or get a dividend, if a corporation does well.

The old notion that only "Wall Street" (translation: fellows with MBAs working in NY) benefits simply doesn't comport with the facts.

In the 1970s, IRAs and 401(k)s began to help average Americans.

Again, you say something that is true. Yet, it has no substance or meaning. The little wannabe faux style. Tell a lie. Tell an irrelevant truth.

Having a tax residence in NY isn't very bright unless there are no other viable choices.

As to the democratization of investing, it is extremely and directly relevant to the notion of "Wall Street" tossed around.

The old notion that only "Wall Street" (translation: fellows with MBAs working in NY) benefits simply doesn't comport with the facts.

In the 1970s, IRAs and 401(k)s began to help average Americans.

So sad. The usual morons who have problems with having an educated population. If we have no public education everybody loses big time. An inability to understand that speaks huge volumes for that person. Not well. Just clearly.

As a public education product myself before college, I'd still give the voucher option.

Generally, though, I'd prefer presidents -- including Obama -- who didn't hide their kids in private schools while touting public schools.
