No Vaginal Ultrasound Requirement in OK

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court is declining to revive Oklahoma's strict ultrasound law for women seeking abortions.
The justices said Tuesday they will let stand a state Supreme Court ruling that struck down the 2010 law passed by Oklahoma's legislature.
The measure required women seeking abortions to have an ultrasound exam and then have the image placed in front of them while the provider described the fetus.
Last week, the justices opted to let stand an Oklahoma court decision that struck down a separate law restricting drug-induced abortions.
The case is Pruitt v. Nova Health Systems, 12-1170.

Congratulations. The party of the self declared humanists have scored another victory for murdering the innocent. Now the good folks of Oklahoma can avoid having to see images of the baby they are about to murder.

No, a victory for not having big government in our bedrooms and invading our bodies.
The vaginal ultrasound laws did nothing about abortion anyway. It was just rank bully government without any real purpose beyond bullying. Laws proposed and passed by nothing more than immoral bullies.
But, it's good to see you support purposeless big government requiring expensive medical procedures for no medical reason at all.
The modern Republican motto, big government to screw the people, but no government to help the people.
