Damn, it took you almost two hours to answer the post that I put on here just to see how long before you had to comment. Never let a post go unanswered no matter how stupid your reply is.

Well, any town which has a history of Dem politicians will probably have budget problems.

Just curious, how is Scranton's budget?

Probably not as bad as Detroit's or the future budget of NYC now that those poor fools have elected a sworn collectivist.
But only because of the size of the city of Scranton. It's a question of scope. Demonrats always destroy anything they control.

A quick Google showed:

"SCRANTON — City council approved a 2013 budget during a meeting Thursday night. Council members said they did their very best to keep the city out of bankruptcy and save taxpayers money, but because of a court ordered increase, they approved a $109 million budget with a 22% property tax increase..."

Great, a 22 percent increase in property tax will surely lure in new homeowners.

It's laughable how the professional anti's jump on every thread and try to turn it to their favor. As I stated above, I started this stupid thread to see how long Justme took to jump in on a thread that means nothing. It took 1 hour 22 minutes.

Its been years since I've been in Scranton, as I live several hundred miles from there. Scranton has been on the downturn for years since the PA coal industry hit a slump and what little manufacturing was there moved to China.

The thread means nothing, that's why he-who-slithers-on-his-belly-on-the-ground keeps coming back to it.
But, as he leveled a therm-nuclear emoticon blast, once again he wins the argument.
Damn. Facts mean nothing in the face of such destructive power.
