Michelle Obama took a moment out to express her heart felt sadness for the victims of today's shooter during a late-morning workshop for local high school students. Michelle was accompanied with several artists, including Estefan and her husband, Emilio, of Miami Sound Machine.

She went on to say she's proud to announce the White House will be hosting a celebration of Latin Music where Gloria Estefan, Romeo Santos, Lila Downs, Marco Antonio Solis and other top Latin musicians will be performing tonight. She said the beats and melodies in Latin music are so irresistible that even President Barack Obama "will shake his groove thing".

She told the students that the White House event will be shared with the public over PBS who will be airing the celebration live.

So the partying goes on at the White House just 2 miles from where the bodies are slowly growing cold! Tune in to PBS tonight and watch Obama shake his bootie with the other social elites to the Latin beat lip song by none other than Gloria Estefan.

After outrage by several members of Congress that Michelle and Barack planned to continue with the Latin celebration tonight the lead stars themselves dropped out forcing the Michelle to change her party plans for tonight.

AP- Earlier today Gloria Estefan and Romeo Santos said they would not be appearing at the White House concert out of respect for those killed, hours later The White House announced it was postponing the concert.

“In light of today’s tragic events at the Washington Navy Yard and out of respect for the victims and their families, Musica Latina will be postponed to a new date,” the White House said in a statement.

Apparently, this was a gun-free zone, so none of the trained personnel there could carry concealed or had access to any service weapon.
