In Memorium.....Nine Eleven

I would like to take a moment to pause and reflect on the tremendous loss suffered by the families of those poor innocents senselessly killed on Nine Eleven.

Their loss is something their families and friends feel every day. They are voids as gaping still today 12 years later, as that day we all stood, numb in shock, as worldwide witnesses to the inhumanity and cowardice of a twisted sociopath ... Losses also felt by the loved ones of the many brave soldiers who have served, and still do; sacrificing their youth, their health and all too often, their lives; to combat the malignant ideologies that spawned the terrorism of Nine Eleven.

As for me and mine, we thank you all and mourn those who paid the ultimate sacrifice both the innocents, and the brave defenders who seek out still today those responsible and their misbegotten followers.

VW is a place to celebrate our women, our freedoms and our liberty to express ourselves, As. We. Wish. Freedom is anathema to these people who terrorize. There is no option but to oppose them at every turn.

I have but one thing to say to those who defend us all still today,
thank you!....and Good Hunting!!!!!

I'd been up sick the night before, so instead of being at work that morning I just happened to be at home, on the couch, vegging out in front of the TV watching whatever morning TV show was on at the time... saw it all happen "live".

Weird. :|

Very well said Rock. I know just what I was doing at that time and how sketchy reports were at first.

To my brothers & sisters in the armed forces. You swore an oath to protect the Constitution of the United States of America, it's citizens, your family & neighbors, our combined Freedom, both from without & within.

As Rock put it. Good hunting!

My prayers and thoughts go with you all for a safe & triumphant return. God be with you.
