Some times are lost for ideas: Since it is summer, get out. I was thinking of a few on the way to look at some landscaping.
1. In the middle of the road on the white lines or yellow or whatever
2. On a rail road track and if you are lucky enough on an train car, if you can only climb up the little ladder
3. Use what your state has, if it is forest use that as a back drop, if you have wheat use the bales, if you live near the ocean that is obvious, river, etc.
4. If you look around town there are spots people aren't up about using early in the morning, you can beat them there, like say a park, doesn't have to be one next to houses, where people look out their windows
5. Car wash early in the morning no one is around
6. Parks can be fun places

You don't need a theme then, the background becomes your theme. You can wear many different things, such as a dress you can unbutton, one you can pull down or up, if you aren't into taking it off and being totally naked.

I have seen some beautiful dresses, flowing in the sun light, laying in a field with an umbrella and the dress was white with little flowers. I have seen a gal's in clothes that go to the beach, at the dock where at the warf, at a cemetery there can be beautiful places that hold the deceased and just the front of them are awesome.

Your own back yard, and use the hose, wash a car, or just pose by something you feel is special. Hang you lingerie out on the line, and pose doing so.

If you camp use your tent and pose 1/2 in 1/2 out.

Early in the morning before the sun is up, you have a hour time frame, you can plan to get ready before that time, and the pictures turn out great when it is just before the sun comes out. Tyra's tip.
Go out in some sexy pj's, lingerie or whatever you choose.

Hope this helps a few of you get started. Once you start you will be looking for places. You will find all different sort of areas.

If you live in a big City it might be a little different and I have no advice.....find private places to start. Maybe like at Mc'd's early in the morning and just sitting you pull out the goodies or sit so the goods show. Maybe something like that.

Costumes are fun to be in as part of a theme also. Spirit Halloween sells lots of sexy costumes. With Halloween that will show up in the stores soon, look for sexy costumes.

Old houses along the high way, abandoned and weathered.

New construction if they don't work on the weekend, is great idea, if a hard hat, and tool belt.

Thanks for the great tips! It is so nice hearing your ideas, tips, and tricks. I just thought of one while reading this, although it is less about the actual photography, but more about the model and putting her "in the mood" for sexy photos. I recommend trying out playing music - any type that you would use in the background for sex that will really get her feeling sexual and you will notice that the photos have a tendency to come out looking more real and less posed!

KIKI: I don't know my husband always plays sexy music and I hear it at first, then I concentrate on what I am doing. So that probably wouldn't work for me. I get in the mood buy doing a little wine, pics and then we talk for a while, and then finally get so hot and bothered by then we need to get at it.

Another trick is to use backlighting. As you can see in Black Angel's Funny Pictures, the shadow cast makes it look like there is a ghost behind her. Any light behind her would eliminate that. Or you could use a backdrop.

Thinker I don't see any shadows.

There are lots of ideas for backdrops. Old sheets and dye them, but you need to iron them. I had satin sheets I would use before I got my backdrops. A plain wall works, and you can decorate with different things. Like one time I put up string of hearts, and a few other things were like adding flowers (foam) ones along the bottom. There are lots of ideas if you think about them.

Look below her knees in the first photo. You will see a shaded outline of her.

I didn't know having a shadow was a plus. I thought you meant bigger, but see the tiny outline on her body.

It's not a plus. That is why I mentioned having a backdrop to hide it or using backlighting.

Thinker that can still happen even with a backdrop, but I agree black lighting is needed and really does help. Open up shades and that really helps to get natural sunlight. More light the better....Although out doors you can have too much sun light. So all within a fine line.
