I am surprised this thread was made public.

I thought the new admin is screening all threads and posts before they are made public.

Has anyone seen the new VC site

Your name implies that you are something you clearly are not. Because every time you open a thread it's the same broken record playing. "It's a scam", "Me and masses of other people know the truth", "Everyone run for the *****".

I've told you before that pretending to represent a mass of people does not make you appear stronger. It makes you appear someone to weak to stand on his own.

To me you appear to be a whiney wanker with a wobbly sense of self-importance. Stop crying for attention. You've said on so many threads you've commented on that you were going to leave and never return and yet you keep coming back. That does not leave an impression of integrity I dare say.

at least it`s a interesting theory and this theory don`t sounds "Out of the World" if you think over it...

Crud above aside, cerebio, I've read all of your posts and you seem to have quite a grasp on how stuff works website-wise. So I'd like your opinion on why (according to Katherine) the higher-ups at VW are refusing to post so much as a screen-shot of the new "out-of-this-world" VW portal. She cites the reason for this is that VC (specifically Igor) might learn something from it. I posit that there is nothing to be learned (code-wise) from a screen-shot posted to a BB. What say you?

I've not seen that citation by the lucious Katherine, but I do understand their point of view.

Granted, a screenshot would not give anything away code-wise, other than perhaps technology used - flash, adobe air, ajax, etc. I doubt that would be of great value.

However, I get the feeling that they are radically redesigning the site. Look and feel, user experience, everything. Posting screenshots would give that away and run the risk of others mimicking the suggested behaviour before VW is ready to launch it.

I've seen competitors of companies I've worked for grab a leaflet with screenshots of our products and basically mock up something nowhere near half-decent looking like it and running sales with it. It happens and if possible you want to prevent it.

Given the circumstances I can understand VW being very cautious about everything they do. They've only got this one shot at it to blow us away.
