Obama has promised to feed Africa and offer more opportunities for Africans to attend our colleges through increased grants and scholarships to African citizens.

Washington — In Soweto, South Africa, first lady Michelle Obama urged young African students to combat hunger and take a stand for women’s rights. She explained that her husband, President Obama is preparing to make a large investment in offering them opportunities to study in the United States on scholarships that will insure there will be no costs to them. She encouraged them all to take advantage of this once in a life time opportunity since funding may be cut by the next President, who may not fully appreciate the sacrifices their people have made in the development of the United States.

In many instances spending IS an investment. That should be prima facie to an educated person.

Spending money to develop farm land in Africa will help US business sell seeds, fertilizer, and farm equipment.
It's a concept foreign to conservatives...

The only positive thing that comes of giving African officials money is they use that money to buy luxury homes in Florida and California where they help the tax base there.

And don't forget that in the end we're also going to give them the seed, fertilizer and farm equipment, maybe even the fuel.

We'll also have to send over some white people to oversea the operation and some of our undocumented residences to do the "Manual Gomez labor" don't forget U.S. taxers will be responsible for the carbon taxes on the fuel we provide.
