Complete regulations, production, distribution, possession, and taxation of recreational pot.

One step in removing the boot of bullies in government and providing rational honest government.

Those potheads are going to grow their own and the State will never see a nickel in taxes.

How's the conservative war on drugs going?

Arresting people for drugs and prostitution is nonsensical.

If my neighbors grow weed or bang hookers in their basement that's their business not mine....

You can make your own wine and beer and yet those industries thrive. You can bake your own bread and yet there are a great many businesses thriving maki8ng bread.

Ow, scare us all because some people will grow pot. Just another example of an asshole throwing darts and recommending against free markets and individual rights.

The State of Colorado legalized the use of pot, not because they're interested in getting people high, but to add millions of dollars to its coffers from taxing it. That tax would come through retailers selling to the public. Those that use will keep using , those that don't won't. Old habits are hard to break, so it's unlikely the users will now want to pay a tax in addition to the inflated price of the product(due to overhead of the store). They will continue to get their product from the people they trust or lose their fear of arrest and start growing their own. I'm saying the State is not going to see those millions.

Who fucking cares!!!

They finally decriminalized it. That's what's important. It costs a fortune to enforce drug laws. For both the government and society. Finally someone in government has some sense.

Freedom, Liberty, Equality

Limiting the autocracy of the false morality imposed by bullies.

That is what is important.

That is what is rational.

That is what is important.

Yes, we all know morn bullies don't understand that in the least.

The fact that many of the legislators who implemented it were only interested in the taxes, and voted against their own superficial stances designed to fool the public is a universal truth of little real long term importance.

So, added to the drunk drivers, we'll now see more drunk plus high drivers.

And smoking anything doesn't improve health.

As to enhanced tax revenues, we'll see.

Well......i'm sure that those that need to have a clear head to perform their highly stressful jobs at the highest levels of efficiency will have the good sense not to be smoking weed....Surgeons, EMTs, Pilots, Cops,etc.. You know those guys that can kill you or your family if they fuck up! But then there has to be some sacrifice for Freedom, Liberty, and Equality.

AW, so the little tyrants want to eliminate all substances that could impair us under any circumstance. Talk about little dictatorial tyrants. He we have it our local pseudo-conservative bullies. They all know better than anyone else why our freedoms and liberties need to be eliminated because they just might be abused by a very few individuals.

Sounds like the same argument you guys make for gun control.

What a joke.

Traffic deaths among young adults, especially teens have already increased 42% since Colorado and Washington State legalized marijuana. If we could save one life we should reverse it and once again make it illegal, but doing so would save 100's if not 1,000's, so there's already groups working on it.

Legalize, regulate, and tax

Prosecuting people for possessing weed, screwing hookers, and drinking booze is idiocy. It costs the government a fortune to prosecute these cases.

I was listening on the radio this morning that the local DA busted around 100 slobs for pandering sex from a undercover cop who posed as a escort at a high end hotel or something. When as a society are we going to get over sex and drugs already???

Can we all agree that cops should be prioritize precious resources to catch murders, thieves, rapists, and other assorted scum...

How pathetic.

Guns are an actual harmful device designed to do nothing other than harm people.

Drugs, sex, and rock and roll are all individual choices that most often harm no one at all, and infrequently harm the person who chooses to do drugs, like alcohol and tobacco.

Only a delusional moron or a totally dishonest person can't see a difference.

One must pass a test to get a drivers license and can loose it for improper behavior. One must show ID to get alcohol and tobacco and can go to jail for passing them on to unqualified people. One must get a license to millions of things in our society, including fishing with a fishing rod, reel, line and hook.

A simple background check to purchase a gun in order to not sells guns to criminals, insane people, violent people, and terrorists is far too much for a paranoid violent type that fights background checks. It's clear why so many don't want background checks, they know they don't qualify to purchase guns under the loosest of laws. Tyey are violent delusiuonal violent types who hate America.

As long as they overdose in their own home and kill themselves, more power to them. But when they take their drugs and drive a vehicle on the streets, now it's my issue. Legalization of pot has put 100's of thousands of more drugged drivers on the roads, they WILL kill many people, maybe even you or your family members.

Exactly, you would think they would learn from past mistakes, now they're adding drugged drivers to those death statistics.

Liberals said it was racist to show ID to vote.

And liberals love the 12 million illegal aliens with fake/stolen ID.

Exactly, JustFreedme. You'd think they would repeal the socialist/liberal/Muzzie/'Merica-hating weed encouragement laws AND reinstate alcohol prohibition so that no one will ever drive drunk or stoned again.

No, Forbes. What was racist was the way the GOP tried to push the I.D. laws so quickly and close to the election. Hell, one of your comrades in conservatism, a PA state senator is on video bragging how they made sure Romney would win the state by passing the law which was later struck down. As as further evidence, why don't we hear about the GOP pushing for the laws right now in time to have them thoroughly crafted and proofed enough to pass muster in time for the '14 and '16 elections? Maybe because Obama can't run again? Naw. I'm sure that's just a coincidence.

Pulling the trigger in a ballot booth is not the same as pulling the trigger on an assault rifle.

Conservatives don't want certain people to pull the trigger on election day.............

Most who talk about "assault rifles" have no idea what one is.

As to who I want to vote, it would be anybody eligible who wants to.

Liberals have contended that photo ID for voting is racist not because they believe such nonsense, but because they want ineligible people to vote for Democrats.

Liberals want plenty of ID for people to buy a rifle, but no ID to lessen illegal immigration.

It is just classic hypocrisy.

Actually, liberals never said it was inappropriate to ask for an ID. They said that the way it was implemented was an unnecessary and illegal burden put on late in the election cycle. Details matter. The games Republicans played are extremely clear. Only a dishonest moron would claim otherwise. We know who you are.
