Sounds like something Obama would do, just as his statement about those who wave the American flag bring attention to themselves. The UK should not only allow British soldiers to wear their uniforms but also allow them to carry a lock and loaded weapon.

It took 20 minutes for armed police to show up after they got the calsl that two attackers were hacking that poor guy to death... as hundreds of Brit's "stood by" and watched, many of them taking pictures. Thank God there are still parts of this Country where citizens would have stepped forward and either blown them away or kicked their cowardly asses.

There has been no order to the military not to wear uniform in public. They have been advised by commanding officers to use "common sense", something you clearly do not have. Brandon you are a cretin.

Justaretard.... soldiers off duty are not allowed to carry weapons in public. It took armed police 14 minutes to arrive at the scene. The victim was dead within 2 minutes of the attack happening. There is no way an armed member of the public would have had any impact on the situation, besides which, if the availability of weapons was similar to the US then undoubtedly there would have been many more victims. One woman, unarmed, actually tried to take the weapon off of one of the blood stained murderers... something an inherent coward like yourself would never have done.

You should also note that there has been a steady and noticeable decline in violence in the UK over the last 10 years. Incidents of violent crime have fallen by 30% since 2003. Homicide is at its lowest since 1978. The UK has seen the fastest decline in violence of any EU country. The UK is a safer, more peaceful and less violent than the shit hole you call home will ever be whilst you defend your right to possess a personal arsenal of weapons. And all this without armed police and gun-toting morons like yourself.

It would appear that the easily impressionable Young Brandon has not only been reading, but foolishly believing the Teamails sent out by Fox news and their assorted compatriots in mis and disinformation.

A quick perusal of the headlines reveals the factual truth is not quite in keeping with the fevered hopes and fears of the easily terrified right wing in God Blessed 'Merica.

Britain has seen the largest fall in violent crime of any country in Western Europe over the last 10 years... a dramatic and consistent fall... and is far safer than the US will ever be. I lost a lot of respect for the Brits when I watched the video of at least 50 men just watching that soldier being kicked, stabbed and dragged on the steets by two thugs. That kind of chickenshit stuff by citizens only happens in our most liberal cities.

Commanding officers or not, it came from the MILITARY, and it's a clear sign of a weak mind, a weak country, a weak society that would allow such though to come around in the first place.

If anything, the Military, in unform, should go into muslim controlled neighborhoods and take them back by FORCE and make Muslims integrate into an EXISTING society or force them to leave.

It's a sad day when the MILITARY advises, at any level, troops to not wear their official uniform in public in their OWN COUNTRY.

They're acknowledging they've allowed the enemy to take roots in their Country and now they have to avoid "offending" them. I've lost a lot of respect for the people of the UK to allow this to happen, just as I've lost respect for liberal in our Country who want us on the same path. In fact it is unsafe in portions of liberal cities for a soldier to wear a uniform, it's even unsafe to do so on some of our liberal universities.

It's a sad day when a violent natured group of people, followers of a violent life system, can so directly impact a country that they are violently taking over, and people like you make excuses for them instead of fighting against them.

Watching that video of those two thugs beating and stabbing that soldier for over 10 minutes while over 50 men stood back and watched turns my stomach. What kind of cowardly chickenshits have the citizens of that Country turned into. Turns out the only person who tried to help was a women who was a tourist who couldn't take it anymore, she tried to get others to help the soldier but they all refused.
