Wrong they only demanded that it "not" be funded by blank checks with no money in the account.

Americans have to do the same thing, if their only car needs major repairs and they don't have the money in savings they may have to cut back on vacation plans...it should be no different for the Government.

Sandy aid was filled with pork. There were billions for such things a building roads in the Virgin Islands, building a museum in D.C, and several other expenditures that had nothing to do with the victims of Sandy. The GOP Senators said they wouldn't vote for an aide package that included pork that should be required to go through the normal process for funding, not stuffed into the disaster relief Bill.

FEMA money isn't a handout, it's tax payers' money put there for disaster relief. Now if the senator from Oklahoma wants money to build a sea park in Hawaii or another museum in D.C. like they did in the Sandy relief, I'd have a problem with it. You low information voters are funny. :lol:
