Not even the Creationgent Design people can justify it. Their internal documents clearly show that they know they have no scientific theory. That they are total frauds and liars. Lying in the name of the Lord God, e.g. Satanists by their own definitions.

I speak for myself, as a Christian with obvious faults, religion should not be taught in the public school system. It belongs in religious institutions.

Science is a wonderful thing, we are stewards of the planet so we are obliged to make the world a better place for future generations. Now with all of the preponderance of scientific evidence indicating that humans are influencing weather patterns on the planet. We are behooved to seek alternatives to the combustion of fossil fuels, unless you want to live in a wretched greenhouse....

There has to be classes on the religions of the world otherwise you have uniformed students who turn into uniformed voters. Understanding the major religions and how they influence what's happening in the world is essential to being an educated person.

Yes, religion belongs in a class on religion, preferably comparative historical religion, including how the Roman Emperor Constantine and his following Emperors of the Holy Roman Empire created the current meaningless dogma, including the divinity of Jesus and the virginity of Mary, including the churches control of the "sacrament", including the churches control of every aspect of religious life,that were solely designed to consolidate political and secular power in the hands of the Roman Empire against the teachings of Jesus which were all about personal power and responsibility and ignoring authority. How modern American religious groups too often use the same techniques to concentrate secular power and wealth in it's leaders by preaching against the teachings of Jesus. How all religions fall into this trap. How ambitious men and women always seek positions of power and use religion to build secular empires of power and wealth. How they always ignore the teachings of their religions and prey on the racist mind, the fear filled mind, the hate or fear of others who superficially appear different to build their power base. How this is easy to see because of the messages they deliver.
