IRS 501c4 Scandal

Yes, there is a real IRS scandal over the 501c4 application. The scandal is that any political group has gotten a tax exemption for what is supposed to be an "EXCLUSIVELY social club or organization engaged in social welfare", one that is "predominately NON-POLITICAL".
There MAY also be an additional scandal that conservative groups have been targeted MORE than liberal groups. Probably not, but it should be investigated. I wonder why a Republican IRS Commissioner would have preferentially targeted conservative groups?
\
The real scandal is that this is simply just another of the radical reactionary noise machines baseless whiny spews of false controversy and that the media give it credence.

Again the libs try to gloss over the real scandal .....i.e. the IRS was delaying the processing of those applications that had the words TEA Party on them and then requesting more information from those applicants than was necessary for the processing of those applications thus costing those applicants thousands of dollars to hire attorneys and accountants to deal with the the information requests! The actions of the IRS were clearly intended to intimidate and destroy any opposition to Obama. This scandal has Obama's fingerprints and stink all over it !!!

Holder announced today that he has instructed that full criminal investigation be conducted concerning the IRS' audits of conservative groups. Towards the end of the news conference he added that he's confident his investigators will find that there was no crimes committed but it's important to know that his department took the matter serious and fully investigated it.

A non-scandal as far as attacks on conservative groups. The language that authorized extended scrutiny of "patriot" and "tea party" groups lasted three (3) days before it was changed to be party neutral and investigate all politically active applicants for 501c4 tax exemptions that they never should have gotten.

Even Obama disagrees with you Bilbo, he went on National television last night and called it a huge scandal and threatened to hold those responsible accountable.
Bilbo, you really need to stay up with the liberal talking points, they've went from denying it's a scandal to now pointing fingers at others while proclaiming Obama didn't know anything about it and it outraged. Keep up dude.

LOL.
"Obama disagrees with me." Obama will never agree with your malignant ignorance. You may occasionally hold the same position by accident, but agree, never. His is political expedience and yours is totally malignant stupidity.
Obama never once spoke of the facts, just like all the other politicians and most of the media.
Obama said just what he needs to say to agree with his accusers that the IRS screwed up. And, the IRS did screw up and has been screwing up by giving 501c4 exceptions to political groups who are notr ever posing as the intended subjects of this code, the Loyal Order of Moose, the Civitan Club, The Veterans of Foreign Wars, The Old Ladies Tuesday Tea and Krumpets Charitable Club., etc.
Now it's time to really review the IRS's incompetency and stop giving 501c4 exemptions to political organizations, right, left, middle or strange.

I find it entertaining that the conservative supreme court found that citizens united was constitutional. And then conservative lawyers were trying to skirt around the law, which led to them being investigated by the IRS...
