Dzhokhar Tsarnaev admitted to authorities Sunday that he and his brother were behind the Marathon bombings, according to a senior law enforcement official.
Tsarnaev made his admissions to FBI agents who interviewed him at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where he is being treated for multiple gunshot wounds. He had not yet been given a Miranda warning.
Tsarnaev’s attorneys are certain to challenge the legal admissibility of those admissions, and other information he gave them, such as claiming that he and his brothers acted alone, and that his brother was radicalized in an extreme form of Islam in part because he opposed US actions in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The cops should have followed the law, now this nut case may get off easy.

If he gets set free it won't be because he wasn't mirandized quickly, it will be because Obama ordered him released.

News reports say that the guy has now been read his Miranda rights and will now remain silent.

Not withstanding the malignant delusions of liar leroy.
There is simply no problem. Even under standard law a judge can rule that non-Marandized evidence CAN be admitted. Then there is the exemption.
Delusions of the left and malignant delusions on the right and no rationality at all from either extreme.

I agree with JM.
Any 2 cent lawyer should be able to get that confession tossed. His client is laying in a hospital bed suffering from gunshot wounds while being intimidated and interrogated by a room full of law enforcement officials.
Shouldn't be a problem.

The whole point of not Marandizing him has nothing to do with getting convictions. It has everything to do with protecting the public, the people of the United States. This is just another example of the radical reactionary obsession with punishment at the cost of any rational agenda to save lives.

Actually most people aren't aware of it; I think you're giving posters here to much credit. Bilbo is one of the smarter posters on the board, but he's just a koolaid drinker when it comes to Obama.
