Polls: Background Checks Have Higher Approval Rating Than Mo

Polls show more people favor universal background checks on gun sales than approve of Mother Teresa, with the issue receiving higher polling numbers than just about anything else.

According to Politico, numerous polls show that 90 percent of Americans have been supportive background checks for all commercial sales, including gun shows, for some time.
But that impressive number wasn't enough to change the Senate vote Wednesday on the background check amendment authored by Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Republican Sen. Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania.

Mother Teresa had an 83% favorability rating in the USA
Background checks, not the ones we have now, the ones that the Libtards were seeking, only have a 4% favorability rating.

• Washington Post-ABC News poll, April 11-14, 2013: "Would you support or oppose a law requiring background checks on people buying guns at gun shows or online?" Support: 86 percent. Oppose: 13 percent.

• CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll, April 5-7, 2013: "Some proposals would require a background check on anyone attempting to purchase a gun in order to determine whether the prospective buyer has been convicted of a felony or has a mental health problem. Please tell me whether you would favor or oppose a background check for a prospective gun buyer under each of the following circumstances. ... If the buyer is trying to purchase a gun at a gun show." Favor: 83 percent. Oppose: 17 percent.

"If the buyer is trying to purchase a gun from another person who is not a gun dealer but owns one or more guns and wants to sell one of them." Favor: 70 percent. Oppose: 29 percent.

"If the buyer is purchasing a gun from a family member or receiving it as a gift." Favor: 54 percent. Oppose: 45 percent.

Yes, liar leroy, show us another poll of the 8% who oppose gun controls and call it a representative poll. You are thge master of finding and selecting non-valid polls that support your positions. How about a poll of KKK members that prove you are not a racist.
