Is the new Pope a dope?

Honestly, he's doing some really weird shit. Placing himself in danger (thus the Church) by going places without his security, refusing to stay in the Pope's residence which is set up with security and assistance in adjoining quarters and instead he's living in a two room hotel type building, laying prostrate on the floor to pray in the famous church's alter on Good Friday and the weirdest is actually kissing the feet of several convicts for the camera.

Maybe he's a true believer and not a coward like Obama?
The pope, as a true believer, must believe that God has a plan for him, and if it means he's to die by violence, then there is nothing the pope can do to stop it - so, he's at peace with the world, showing it.

But kissing the feet of convicts is something Obama would do, the Pope shouldn't be doing it. Plus he clearly lingered his lips on the two female convicts' feet...it was really, really, weird.

I believe he's trying to show himself as accessible, by being amongst the people. He's sending a message that the Church is turning back toward more humble perspectives by eschewing the rich trappings in favour of more modest accommodation. Prostrating himself is quite normal they all do it. Washing and kissing the feet of the poor and lowest dregs of society is also in keeping with the Church's supposed beliefs
Nothing odd except hat he's being more like what the Church is supposed to be about under the layers of sin, riches, venality, corruption and paedophilia...

Sure wish Obama would make him self more "accessible" and eschew rich trapping in favor or a more modest life.

What the Pope should say on homosexuality:
Christians in our belief should refrain from homosexuality. All Christians should remember to be compassionate toward homosexuals and treat them with respect, love, and charity.
As Jesus taught us, Christians should leave secular government to create and enforce it's laws independent of any church dogma or law. Christian law is meant only as a guide to Christians on correct behavior and should never be imposed with law or threat on any individual, Christian or non-Christian. We expect all secular laws to be written with compassion for it's subjects.

Bilbo you're talking about so called "Donation Principle laws" which are gifts that governments extend to groups in hopes of gaining their support. Examples are laws punishing certain corporate practices while rewarding corporations that are in the government's good graces (donors), and/or to punish corporations that are not. You want donation principle laws for gays because they vote for Democrats just as the Laws that support of low-income, uneducated voters, who also tend to vote Democratic
Laws were originally established to protect the citizens we should stick with "Parental Principle Laws" not Laws to punish or reward groups the author has a fancy for.

More malignant bigoted delusional bullshit from justupid. No surprise there.
It's simple equality under the law, nothing more, nothing less. Keep you bigoted prejudices inside you church and your group of bigots. Keep it out of the law.

Aw, a bigot saying it's bigoted to be against bigotry and then adding the extreme of saying that since such bigotry occurs within the catholic church that it is bigotry against all Catholics and all Christians.
More delusional all or nothing extremism from justupid. Who would suspect. Why, everyone.

If you believe in "Equality Under the Law" you would be for removing the word "marriage" and replacing it with "union" so that true equality could be reached without forcing any beliefs on anyone.

That's all you have liar leroy. Semantics, word games. Please, try to continue hiding your malice and bigotry behind word games.
Still, you get a bill in position in Congress to unconstitutionally legally force the whole of the United States, every state, to change the definition of secular government marriage to civil union for everyone past, present, and future and I will support it as I have said many times in the past. You may persist in this delusional and dishonest word game quest as you wish. Your bigotry still shows along with your delusional state of mind, your dishonesty, etc.

So, you support "Union" being the legal equality, but, you continue down your path of hate and intolerance of forcing people to change the definition of "Marriage" because you don't really have tolerance and love for those that don't "Accept" gays.

You call me a "piece of shit", yet you continue to show your selfish intolerance and hate and unwillingness to actually push for a real legal equality - and you attack those that actually support a true legal equality. Seems to be you are constantly describing yourself when you attack me.
