You "really" think 35 people could manage/sustain a 1,700 mile pipeline with over 800,000 barrels going through it a day and then process that oil, put it in containers and get it to it's final destination?
The Department of Commerce estimates the pipeline would lead to 250,348 and 553,235 permanent jobs over the life of the pipeline, an estimate that reflects “the long-term effects of having a more stable source of that level of oil supply,” Perryman said in an e-mail. They estimate an immediate creation of at least 25,000 permanent jobs all along the pipeline with the majority being on the processing end.
