Yep, to the same group of people getting Obamaphones.

Are they talking about Chavez of Obama in this news release?
He was know as a silver-tongued preacher. After failing to reach power through a military coup in 1992, Mr. Chávez proclaimed himself a democrat. But once in power, he proved difficult to remove. He changed the constitution twice to allow continuous re-election. He also used rhetoric to sharpen class divisions, pitting millions of poor Venezuelans against a prosperous middle and upper class, which he scornfully called "the squalid ones."

Mr. Chávez expropriated thousands of farms and businesses putting them under Government control, and transformed the state oil company into a behemoth that built houses and distributed food to buy votes. He saddled Venezuela with high inflation, high unemployement some $80 billion in foreign debt and made it even more oil dependent. His friends and family lived like royals while turning a 15% poverty rate into a 50% poverty rate under his rule. It was those votes he counted on for re-elections, he kept them dependant on his hand outs.

His friends got very rich and are still making money. Now that he's gone , they are not going to give up their life styles. I think there's going to be a revolution down there.

He was a tyrant. But, a much better tyrant than the countries previous tyrants. Oh, but they supported American companies raping the peasants. I see where you come from. No surprises there.
