There is a swing club...LaTraeze...on East 27th St. between Madison and 5th...It's open most nights of the week...crowded on weekends...weeknights are better...depends on your tastes...Have fun!

I live close to NYC, has anyone been to LaTraeze? If so, would love some more opinions on the place.

It sounds like LaTraeze could be a fun night out, do you think it is worth a train ride Avi?

Shardog, just to let you know I heard from others on the Explicit BBs that Le Trapeze "is a fun place hidden away in nyc people are really cool and respectful, mixed bag of good looking folks w/ regulars" and a few other good reviews...looks like I will have to just try it out for myself one of these days and to get you a first hand account

Trapeze is a fun place down town, it has a good mix of city dwellers and some bridge and tunnel couples, it has basically three rooms, a large play room which is kept pretty dark that can accommodate 30-35 couples, it has a smaller play room that used to be a small pool, and it has an upstairs that has 3or4 semi private rooms which partially over look the smaller play room. It also has 2 or 3 private rooms with locking doors. You pay outside at a window and then are escorted to a coed locker room where you are given a locker and a towel after you strip down your things are locked in the locker by the attendant and you are on your way. It is not the cleanest of clubs but I wouldn't call it dirty either, if you are a clean freak you may have issue. But the staff is friendly and you don't feel uncomfortable entering or being in the club. It's not clicky, and they do provide food and showers. It is a couples only club, so no single males around, and there is a membership fee which can be purchased at the door. Hope this helps.

I assume you mean that you take off all your clothes and walk around in a towel? I think it is sexier to be wearing something ... something sexy that is. Just walking around in a towel takes away from the "hey look at me affect". Would rather see my wife and the other women in whatever they want, a dress, lingerie, definitely heels ... stuff like that.

There has to be other clubs like this around the NYC area ????
