"NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- Former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin has been indicted on 21 federal corruption charges including wire fraud, bribery and money laundering.

The charges are the outgrowth of a City Hall corruption investigation that already has resulted in guilty pleas by two former city officials and two businessmen.

The counts include wire fraud, bribery, money laundering, filing false tax returns and conspiracy."

Sad that he could not even follow the states disaster plan when Katrina happened, now we know why, he was/is totally corrupt, like most Democrat mayors/politicians.

As is always the case, I would say that this is a nothing but a racist witch hunt by southern redneck white supremacist Republican racists who can't tolerate a black man in power.

Yep federal corruption indictments are surely a redneck witch hunt. Even if they set him up in a sting, he didn't have to engage in the corrupt behavior, but should have reported the attempts.
