Republican Leaders Proud to Be Tyrants

The Republican leadership is now boasting about it's success at being the party overcoming the will of the people and maintaining it's majority in the House. It also is boasting about it's new efforts at expanding it's tyranny against the will and the benefit of the people.

Both efforts are about the Republican Party success at gerrymandering. Republicans are boasting their success in the Congressional districts to gain more seats in the House then they would if equal representation and the people's will were to allowed to dominate. They proudly admit that they hold their majority despite the majority of the people being against the Republican Party and their policies. Now their new effort is to gerrymander in a centrally coordinated manner the Electoral College keeping solid Republican states as winner take all and making contested states won by Obama into proportional voting in the Electoral College.

Here we see real actual tyranny in action. A self admitted unpopular minority working to overcome the democratic systems of the United States and force their unpopular policies on all Americans. The definition of tyranny. Policies which hurt all Americans.

This is the real deal of tyrants working very hard to eliminate democracy and overcome the will of the people. Further, this is for no lofty goal of expanding freedom and equality, this is to impose the will of religious fundamentalists (radical extremist Christian "Sharia" law), and the dismantling of the middle class to concentrate power and wealth further among the few elite at the top of our economic system.

The real tyrants and fascists are the Democrats, working against the Majority of the people in this country.

You're surprised because you don't understand that we live in a REPUBLIC, not a Democracy.

And you're too stooooopid to see that the Democrats are destroying the country, they are not helping anyone, they are acting like true fascists in every sense of the definition.

Ask yourself this -

Why aren't the Democrats cutting spending?

Why have the Democrats refused to create a Budget for years?

Leroy-I often lose sigh of what you really stand for. What spending is it that you feel is over the top? Are you against all taxation or just taxes on you? How should necessary government services be financed? You often support taxes on consumption even though this is a hit on the poor section of our population; do you think it is fair that the poor pay a higher tax rate than the wealthy?

We do not live in a Republic. We live in a Federal Republic. We, also, do not live in the 18th century.

We also do not have the 2nd Amendment Rights that the violent radical reactionary extremists, the gun industry, and the NRA want people to believe they have. There have always be limits and restrictions imposed by law. All the Presidents have espoused this point. All the SCOTUS espouse this point. Scalia espouses this point with great vehemence.

There has never been a right for extremists to espouse violent revolution or to start killing people.

Republicans do not have the right to manipulate the system to avoid democracy and implant a tyrannical regime as they openly plan to do as indicated by not only their actions but by their own words.

This is tyranny as it always happens.

But, by your support of democrats, and your support of Obama, you claim that Democrats DO HAVE THE RIGHT TO manipulate the system to avoid REPRESENTATIVE democracy and implant a tyrannical regime as they openly plan to do as indicated by not only their actions but by their own words. Democrats have been working towards this goal since before the implementation of the "New Deal".

Obama may by tyrannical in the eyes of republicans, but he did get approximately 65,899,660 people to vote for him. Whereas Darrell Issa got elected by getting 159,729 so he can run down the block like a little child shooting a machine gun and blowing up mailboxes with hand grenades..............

Snake - you seem to have missed what I really think, even though I've made it clear several times.

I support a single rate consumption tax, as the only tax, with exclusions for ONLY the following: Food, one home, education, medical. Anything other than those would be taxed at the time of purchase and the poor would be the least impacted. The poor don't need an X-Box, so they would only pay the tax on it when they want to pay the tax on it, meaning that they don't need one to live a healthy life. The poor could work and save without having to pay taxes on almost everything necessary to live a healthy life, in a home, and to get an education - which I believe should be free to all legal citizens.

As for taxes and government - Federal Government should only provide those NATIONAL services like National Defense, Military, Border Control (armed and loaded), Foreign Relations, and should only intervene in the states when one state sues another, but that ruling should only apply at that instance. Those are the ONLY "Necessary" government services. The rest are state issues that have no business being addressed at the National Level.

If liar leroy could come up with a MORE regressive tax he would support that, but he is satrisfied with the idea of a flat sales tax as the only source of tax because it will damage the economy and hurt the lower and middle classes quite well.
