A girl and her dog down at the creek. Warms a country boys heart, and other vital organs too! I think "outdoors" is your forte CG. Thanks sweet thing!

I came to the thread all ready to do a link, but this time John beat me to it. Oh well, guess I'll just have to go back to the contri. and admire the scenery a while longer.

Yeah, I had to go back and look again, too. Blue jeans, boots, and the great outdoors. The pic of you coming out the water might become my wallpaper ;) One of these days I hope to get a set of my wife like that. Pity she won't let me share . . .

What a Fabulous set!

What makes it for me is how relaxed you were. You really seemed like you were having a great time, even though it was chilly. And your choice of clothes was just right. I too loved the slow strip and how your focus was totally on the camera as if you were teasing your soon to be audience - us lucky COFFs.

SUPERB!!

You are such a cutie!!!!

Some of my fondest childhood memories are of going to the creek (or "crick" as we call it) and looking for crayfish. Now, like Grumpy, I'll think of you, Countrygal, at the creek, too.

Well, I for one am very glad you got away! You made the right choice to ditch the bucket, lol. I had a similar experience fishing on Lake Okeechobee in FL. A little (about 4-5 ft) gator decided he liked the shiny spinner I was fishing with. I immediately decided to give it to him as a gift!

Geeezzz Grumps... Lonestar? I'm not even a beer drinker and I've heard the rep of Lonestar. Of course I did live in Texas for three years many moons back. As the commercial used to say, "Long live longnecks and Lonestar beer."

Countrygal, no pack horse to haul yer coolers in? That way you can have your beer and a place to put your crawdads. ;) And the horse can probably run a lot faster in the event of a quick get away...

We were actually in someone else's pasture, couldn't take the horses in with us. Jbe i lived in plainview Texas when i was a kid. Then lived in corpus christi, tx about 2 years ago for 2 years. Corpus is nice place to visit but not a fun place to live.

Well...a fellow Texan! I am a native of Texas - born and raised here. I have been in the East Texas area for quite a few years now.

Small world eh country girl?

Have a good evening.

CG, I lived pretty much in the middle... Fort Hood for three long years.

Hey, Bob. that's right. I forgot that's where you hang your hat.

I grew up in the Oklahoma Ozarks...Green Country

My writing isn't nearly as eloquent as some of you but I think everyone will agree with me that Countrygal is one in a million ;)

Countrygal, feel free to talk about whatever you want. As long as it keeps you on the BB's. ;)

Like John (or Jbe), I've spent some time in Texas - almost a year. A few months in San Antonio and about 7 months in Witchall Falls. Never got off base to see any creeks or Long Horns. Then spent the next 3 years in Florida. Saw plenty of creeks and wild life. And Grumpy (or 327retro), I remember trying to get a good beer in Texas but had to settle for a Bud. Never wet swimming in a creek or lake in Florida, never knew what was in the water - so Grumpy, I'm with you, it wasn't for me either.

Countrygal - please tell us about your stories with horses and I also love your propic and your contris too.

Toothpick didn't do a whole lot of exciting things besides the one time he bucked me off and when he ran me into a tree. We can talk about whatever you guys wanna talk about.

Countrygal, how old were you when you got your first horse? Did you have other pets, too, or were horses always #1 for you? Perhaps you could show us some Lady Godiva like nudes on horseback sometime.

I was 12 or 13 when i got my first horse it was a shetland pony the meanest little horse ever. That thing bucked me and my friends off kicked me in the chin, it would stop real fast and i would fly over its head cause i didn't have a saddle. But back then i thought it was fun when the horse bucked now that I've moved to bigger horses its not so fun. We had dogs cats chickens goats. I even had a pet raccoon. I thought about doing a shoot with my horses but that'll have to wait for summer cause they need a bath
