There was a site offshoot that enabled us to upload our pics in a kind of personal area. I think it was the playground. Is that gone for good?

Nope, Playground is not gone for good, it is currently undergoing a total overhaul.

I am sorry, and agree that it is a shame. I do look forward to rebuilding the community, and am happy to see that you already have started!

I do hope the answer is yes, as the tech team is trying to restore all the old content, but unfortunately they are not yet sure if it is possible.

I just loaded a bunch of pics in my profile album and sub albums waiting on the playground to come back. They're not getting many views though and not many other folks have pics in theirs either. I guess most people come to VW just to look at the Contris.
