Obama Admin provided weapons used in Benghazi attack

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration secretly gave its blessing to arms shipments to Islamic rebels from Qatar last year, but Congress grew alarmed as evidence grew that Qatar was turning the weapons over to Islamic terrorists, according to United States officials and foreign diplomats. The Obama administration clearly was worried about the consequences of its hidden hand in helping arm Libyan Islamic terrorists, concerns that have not previously been reported. The weapons and money strengthened Islamic militant groups in Libya, allowing them to become a destabilizing force since the fall of the Qaddafi government. Evidence has surfaced that weapons went to Ansar al-Shariah, an extremist group blamed for the Benghazi attack. American officials say that the United Arab Emirates first approached the Obama administration during the early months of the Libyan uprising, asking for permission to ship American-built weapons to support hard core Islamic groups.The Obama administration rejected that request, but instead urged the emirates to ship weapons to Libya that could not be traced to the United States then provided funding for the operation.

It seems that a few reporters for the New York Times originated this story that was picked up by the rest of the media. It's a shame this didn't come out the middle of October. It would have been a hell of a record for BHO to finish out his campaign on.

It did not come out because the Main Stream Media wanted Obama to win. The question is when did they have this story? Did they sit on it to help Obama?

How do we know it wasn't Bush who provided the weapons used in the Benghai attack? Do you knuckle draggers really think Obama knew those weapons would be used to attack our embassy?

Freedman, It happened in the spring of 2011 under BHO. Are you serious about blaming Bush for something specifically originated and done by BHO's administration? The whole point of the story is that his administration wanted a degree of separation from him and had other countries deliver weapons to terrorist groups because they were against Gaddafi. His hands are all over this.

When that didn't happen, Justme then told us that the buff Paul Ryan would ensure a Romney victory last November. When that didn't happen, Justme assured us that Karl Rove and Dick Morris would have their own primetime shows on Fox News. When Karl and Dick were banished from Fox. Justme advised us to buy gold via some gold company that advertises on Fox. When that company was exposed as stealing from Fox viewers with dementia (is there another kind?), Justme bragged about bagging and toe-tagging shoplifters at the strip mall in Tacoma where he is the real life embodiment of Paul Blart.

Did everyone noticed that Grog totally ignored addressing the subject under discussion and did nothing but attempt to distract and name calling. Take your drug Grog and then attempt to respond to the weapons Obama provided terrorists.

Thank you Grog, That was good coming from a 4 watt bulb. I don't follow this board with enough interest to know who is who and what socks different people are wearing. Sorry but it's just not that important. I stop in here read the blathering bullshit occasionally drop in a comment and then leave for a bit. I truly don't give a flying fuck who you are, or what your opinions are and I surely don't feel compelled to browbeat someone into submission trying to get them to adopt any ideas I might have. I presume you are a grown man and that your life events have made you who you are and it seems to work for you. Why would I ever want to try to get you to change?
If there ever comes a time on this board where people actually debate the issues presented and stop trying to insult each other or lapse into unrelated bullshit then I might just be willing to offer up proper debating points. Until then I'll continue to post my occasional notes.
So, About those American and other weapons funneled to the guys who killed our people in Benghazi? Any comments??????? The New York Times isn't exactly a fringe alternative media outlet so why has this not been one of the top stories on all the main stream media platforms?
