Congrats on having a Son that loves the country - but I can't imagine serving under a President that sends people into harms way and then refuses to provide any form of protection once they are in trouble, and then lies about it as well as his role in getting them killed. It must be a real moral dilemma for those knowing that Obama will do this to them if he believes he can gain some political or other power from it.

Thanks for sharing. Makes one proud knowing there are still heros out there. We as a country to many times hear only the bad news , its good to know there is still a core ready and willing to step into harms way when called on. Made me think of my family, and yours this holiday.
A few need to give it a break, not every breath we take should be soaked in politics. I don't think Lumster, or his son deserved the political spin. Is it to much to just say thanks....

Just, sorry, but being in the Military when your CIC is in league with terrorists, abandons your brothers for his own political gain, well, it's not about politics, it's about what most of the Military have had to think about when it comes time to reenlist, it's a very real issue, not just some contrived political stunt or bashing, it's very real - would you want to reenlist knowing that Obama is going to abandon you if it's politically expedient for him to do so? Not political for the country, political for his own power grab.

I took this thread as a whats good in America. A personal reflection.
Maybe if you feel the need to bash our military system and how you feel their being misled, you could start a new thread, I for one will will respond. Lets leave this one about a father and his pride in his son.

Just, as one of the people that still lives in the USA, I'm free to post my comments, that were on topic, in a thread when I want. That you don't appreciate my commenting on the leadership of the Military, as it relates to the impact of people reenlisting, well, I don't really care that you don't like it - it's a fact, it's a real consideration, and Odumbass abandoned 4 Americans as well as having gotten more troops killed than Bush because of Obama's ROE changes.

Why can't you address the fact that Obama has killed more of our sons/daughters than Bush? Why can't you address that being abandoned in a fire-fight, by Obama, is a real consideration when re-enlisting?

So egocentric. You turned the mans celebration into a "me me me" post
Sometimes you should refrain, because you can
