The first results of the 2012 election are in, and President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are tied, with 50% each.

As has been the tradition since 1960, residents of Dixville Notch, a tiny village in Coos County, New Hampshire, cast their ballots. In 2008 Obama received 72% of the cities votes, in this election Obama has lost 22% of the support he had in 2008, not a good sign for Obama in such a staunch Democrat city. 30% of the registered Democrats voted for Romney.
