Political discussions about everything

At a press conference this morning on Staten Island, a host of local officials, including Senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand, gathered to highlight the needs of the hard-hit borough in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. And, although many pols spoke about the lack of support they're getting, no one was more impassioned than Borough President James Molinaro, who called the Red Cross an “absolute disgrace” and even urged the public to cease giving them contributions. “It is as the borough president, Jim Molinaro, said, it’s disgusting, it really is,” State Senator Andy Lanza said. "We have people suffering and the charities we depend on are letting them down."
If the politicians and Government can hardly function or move and can't help the people, why would liberal politicians expect the Red Cross to do any better? Who would have thought liberal politicians would blame someone else for their failure to prepare and lead?

Oddly they have no problem with the job the Obama Administration is doing although they're outraged their people needing help are being ignored. Odd, really odd.

Your tone is racist. Obama has worked day and night in the situation room orchestrating what will go down in history as the best recovery efforts in our Nation's history, 1,000's may have died had it been for his preparation and response. The Red Cross failures aren't the Government's fault, NY officials are correct, the Red Cross needs to come under FEMA instead of a charity ran by amateurs.
