Watermark Discrepencies Raise A Security Concern for CONTRI

Some of the contri now have watermarks that say

Shown at...

Then I saw one that said

Shawn@

Link is below from today

That is just weird. Period. Are you outsourcing watermarks to a third world country where the obvious difference is just lost in translation?

For some reason I find this observation oddly unsettling....

Perhaps someone should give a detailed accounting of exactly WHERE as in physical location, (city and state and country is fine) contri are stored and under WHOSE CONTROL. Secondly, WHO exactly reviews contri (again WHERE) and WHERE the servers are (Physical locations) and preferably soon.

The contributions department is located in the United States and that was obviously a typo on their part, sorry for that, but this has nothing to do with security. They have been working very hard to get as much done as possible as we have been flooded with contributions (which is great!), and the team must sort through them all. However, that team does not have "physical" control over the material and the material is not stored at their location. I can tell you that the information is stored in the United States, but for security purposes I will not go into details.

Good answer, the concern over such an obvious mistake in comprehension is what concerned me.

Wouldn't it be far easier to automate the watermarking? Same simple watermark for all contri? Just plain Voyeurweb would do nicely or the weblink, no need to put "Shown at" in there IMO, too wordy and distracts from the image.
