Dishonestjohn is literally comparing a protest against a single Administration immigration policy (not against the government as a whole as johnny is pretending) of rounding up immigrants and illegally deporting them without due process. Dishonestjohn is literally saying that Americans have no right to protest a single government policy without it being "the actual definition of an insurrection". Utter nonsense.

Of course, the very definition of every protest is to "defy government authority," especially when it is an illegal policy.

We all have absolute proof that looting and destroying federal property is what Republicans love to do, and they literally do it with impunity (pardons) and the support of johnforbes because they have the support of a Republican president.

January 6 was apparently a bunch of enthusiastic people who felt, mistakenly, that anybody in DC would pay any attention to yet another demonstration.

In California, the governor is in open insurrection against federal authority.

You haven't told us where Newsom has deployed all the guns, where he's hiding all the generals waiting to stage a coup d'etat, or what plans he has to overthrow the government. Those are the things you insist are required to stage an insurrection. I somehow missed the reports from FOXnews documenting these troubling events.

Please get back to us with the evidence for these things you claim Newsom is hiding.

There is not the slightest doubt that hair-splitting johnforbes would have flipped the bird and denied federal authority back in 1860, like Justice Thomas, siding with the Confederacy arguing there was nothing in the Constitution saying one couldn't own slaves. To the contrary, it specifically ALLOWED slavery.

The problem is that today "federal authority" is blatantly violating the Constitution and thus johnforbes now decides he can support that federal authority because it finally meets his low standards for an Executive wielding unlimited and unchecked power, a cowering Congress of toadies, and a Supreme Court that has bent over and said "Yes sir, whatever you say sir."
