Conservative 5th Circuit Court says drug use cannot disqualify Hunter from owning a gun

Well, conservative gun fanatics have unintentionally let Hunter off the hook.
"Drug user cannot be barred from owning guns, US court rules"
"Aug 9 (Reuters) - A federal appeals court on Wednesday ruled that a decades-old law prohibiting users of illegal drugs from owning firearms was unconstitutional as applied to the case of a marijuana user, the latest fallout from a U.S. Supreme Court ruling last year that expanded gun rights.
A three-judge panel of the New Orleans-based 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals concluded that the federal law violated a Mississippi man's right to "keep and bear arms" under the U.S. Constitution's Second Amendment."
There goes the case against Hunter since, according to a bunch of conservative judges (both Supreme Court and Appellate Court) it is unConstitutional that drug use disqualifies a person from owning a gun. Hunter has been indicted for illegally owning a gun while a drug user. But at this point Hunter can't be found guilty of breaking an unConstitutional gun law, as any Republican can tell you.

That would actually be interesting as a case, setting aside the aspect of a presidential son.
Mr Forbes was on a ship off Nova Scotia during all of the recent storm activity, but in fairness Clowntroller has done much more carnal cruising in the seedy swamp of fetid Frisco.

"That would actually be interesting as a case,..."
You mean it IS an interesting case, johnny.
Hunter is already charged with lying about "unlawful" ownership of a firearm due to drug use. But if it isn't unlawful ownership according to the 5th Circuit, then Hunter didn't lie on his application, did he.
The worst part is, when Hunter walks thanks to insane Republican judges, Republican lawmakers, and other assorted gun nuts, Trump and the Republicans in Congress are going to lie about it and say Joe pulled strings for him with the DOJ instead of blaming themselves.

What I find interesting is that Hunter is now suing the IRS because some information from his tax returns found its way to the media...LOL Where have I seen that happen before?

Once again johnforbes has nothing to contribute on the topic so he desperately flails about for another diversion; his impotent version of a personal attack.
He's just so pathetic.

Clown really needs to get a grip.
The Beatles were a Brit singing group -- the Fab Four -- and they were not a distraction to any thread.
There were those audience members who loved them yeah, yeah, yeah.
And, with a love like that, you know you should be glad.

So what you're trying to say is that Hunter should walk because he didn't lie on his application since it is not "unlawful" for him to own a gun? You agree with the opinions of the two conservative courts, that drug use can't stop someone from owning guns.
For some reason you keep talking but you never actually say anything, so people just have to guess at the content of those amorphous clow ds of vaguely understood reactionary partisan 'beliefs' floating about in your empty skull. Try to address the topic and not divert with your irrelevant long-hair, drug-induced hippie music.
