"Travel magazine Travel Noire ran a recent headline declaring that "Biden Has Been on Vacation for 40% of His Presidency".
Political analyst/editorialist Phillip Bump of The Washington Post tried to minimize the significance, mentioning that "Biden stayed at the homes of donors. His Virgin Islands trip was to a home owned by billionaire Democratic donors Bill and Connie Neville. Twice, he’s stayed at a Martha’s Vineyard compound owned by billionaire David Rubenstein."
"This is not an ideal situation, certainly, the president of the United States receiving favors from wealthy allies" Bump continued. "But these trips make up only 24 of the 250-plus days Biden has been away from the White House" Bump said.
Biden had three beach vacations at the homes of "wealthy and politically connected" owners during the past-year reporting period, according to The New York Post.
Biden did not pay the owner in at least two of those three getaways, said the Post, and in the third case it’s suspected the president did not pay."

johnny, why must you always lie to start a thread?
Thomas was NEVER criticized for his vacations. You made it up.
Thomas was criticized for not DECLARING his vacations as required by law. And he was criticized for not recusing himself from cases brought before the Court when they involved people from whom he accepted huge gifts.
Everyone knows where a President is at all times. Everyone knows when he is at a rich guy's house. He does not need to declare those sorts of vacations since they are public knowledge, unlike those of Supreme Court Justices. Everyone knows when a President does a favor for a rich donor. Everyone does not know when a Supreme Court Justice does a legal favor for a rich benefactor.

Did Tanya Chutkin, with her wild comparisons of protests to 9/11. has she recused herself.
Has Ketanji -- who couldn't define "woman" -- recused herself on all cases where her partisan bias was obvious to the casual observer?

Heal yourself, dimwit.
This thread, started by YOU, is about a lie you started that Thomas was criticized for his vacations. He wan't, as I showed you.
Now, since you have once again been caught in a lie, you are pretending that all those other judges somehow negate your lie about Thomas. They don't. You're still a partisan liar, despite all the diversions you attempt after being caught lying.
Councillor, heal yourself first. Remove the partisan plank you carry from your own eyes. Stop starting silly threads with partisan lies for dimwits. THEN you can attempt to extract the mote from someone else's eye.
At the very least, stop garbaging up your own thread with off-topic diversions.

But the Left has been criticizing Thomas for his vacations.
Does Mr Forbes think ALL justices should ALL pay for ALL of their own vacations? Yep.
Does he think it absurd that the Supreme Court is in recess July through September, despite the advent of modern air conditioning long ago? Yep

No, you made it up, dummy.
The "Left" has been criticizing Thomas for failing to declare expensive gifts of vacations he received as required by law.
No one on the "Left" gives a flying fuck if Thomas takes vacations.

Heavens, I'm shocked at Clown's harsh tone.
I haven't felt this deflated since playing pickup football with Tom Brady.

Heavens, I'm shocked at johnforbes' childishness.
I haven't felt this exhausted since I last tried to spoon-feed another spoiled infant who just stubbornly spit up everything that was actually good for him.

Mr Forbes was so exhausted from this thread on vacations that he saw no viable alternative but to go on vacation.
Therefore, he moves to vacate any negativity because he has returned -- lean and lithe, tanned and rested -- to continue the noble tradition of constructive discourse we have established here.
