Thoughts on Bud Light?

As a nondrinker, I'm not qualified to say whether Bud Light tastes more like panther urine or pond scum...

Is anyone else disgusted that johnforbes knows what panther urine and pond scum taste like and that the only reason he can't compare them to Budweiser is because he doesn't consume alcohol.

To market a product, whether Bud Light or anything else, a gal who went to Wharton should have realized two things:

1) She needs to expand the brand. In this case, she felt tossing out a few leftist virtue signals to trans people would suffice.

2) The need to retain her existing base of customers.

Here, she alienated existing customers, and Budweiser -- which pretty much everybody admitted was mediocre -- had nothing left but air.

Yes, there were pallets of warm cans of Budweiser in Vietnam, and there were Super Bowl ads with Clydesdales which gave customers that warm n' fuzzy feeling.

But Budweiser was vulnerable given its mediocrity.

Who give a flying fuck about Budweiser, you moron.

Or anyone else for that matter.

Nobody cares that much about Budweiser per se, but of course Bud Light injected itself into public discourse by doing a trans virtue signal with some wacko.
